Got the old boy on the inside of his right arm, just below the elbow ;D. I wasn't subjected to a conference; I got suspended for a week and a half. My punishment for biting the principal was a vacation! Well gosh golly gee, I sure learned my lesson! ;D ;D ;D

I had to add, since people were saying you can love or hate Bloo....I personally learned he's only FIVE...maybe when he gets older, some of his bad traits will calm down. For some reason, I doubt Bloo will be so selfish and careless when he's older...cause SOMEWHERE along the line maturing will take place. I guess! I always write Bloo a bit nicer when he's older. ^_^ (like around teenage or so)

He's unthinking sometimes. Like in the Cookie Dough: "If it takes 20 minutes at 250 degrees, it should only take 2 minutes at 2500 degrees." And sometimes he's smart, and sometimes...well he's not too smart.: He knows what is dioxid, but he don't know what's five times seven.

XD Yay for Bloo being a stupid genius.
I have to say: I know people want more...Heart-warming scenes in episodes between Mac and Bloo, and hey, it wouldn't hurt me at all! I'd enjoy it. But still, how Bloo acts now is funny, and that's what the writers are shooting for. I guess.

But still, how Bloo acts now is funny, and that's what the writers are shooting for. I guess. There are two things I would feel hesitant about with the "heart-warming scenes": 1. They might be less funny. 2. They'd encourage even more Mac x Bloo stuff. (No offense intended to anyone who's a fan of this pairing, but I find it impossible and extremely out-of-character. That's just me, though....)

The abridged version of my "why I think it's a good thing that they don't have more heartwarming scenes between Mac and Bloo" is: it would be depressing. The whole situation with Mac having to give up Bloo is *extremely* depressing and sad, and this is NOT supposed to be an angst-ridden show, despite what the teenaged fans seem to want. It is supposed to be funny and lighthearted, period. Making Bloo be completely "out-there" and using a lot of sarcastic and scathing humor is the *only* thing, in my opinion, keeping this show a *children's* cartoon, which is what it *SHOULD* be. If you want touching and heartwarming, read a fanfic. The show is for humor, often mean-spirited humor. That's just the way it is. (Again, this is the abridged version of my opinion. I suck at debates so I should probably leave it at that.)

QFE, QFT (Quoted for emphasis, quoted for truth) Now, I know the "if you don't like it, don't read it" thing applies here, but I just really can't understand why people insist on turning Foster's into an angst-filled, dreary, "Mac turns goth and Bloo is bulimic, what will everyone else at Foster's do?!"-type... uh, something. While a clever and prodigal kids' show, FHFIF is still for kids, and fans wanting what should stay on fanfiction.net to be in the actual show is just illogical. Friendship is not as sacred in cartoons as people think it should be; a best friend in a kids' cartoon will chop holes in the roof of your house and let the birds crap on your head. Maybe they've been spoiled by watching too much anime.

Well said.
I saw a fic where Mac was a goth cutter who was all depressed and violent and Bloo was acting like a PMSing...male...parrot. Yeah.

Me too...and that goes for *all* of the fandoms I'm into. A lot of people get offended when they review my stories and I haven't even read theirs...because I read very little in general.

Meh, I read lots of fanfics, but never review 'em. Why? I'm lazy, sue me. I usually review one-shot fanfics because I'm so lazy that I think if I review multi-chaptered stories, they'll expect me to review all the chapters. And, I don't wanna do that. I remember this one time I reviewed a multi-chaptered fic, but it was for The Fairly Odd Parents, not Foster's, so, that's a bit off-topic. This is kinda weird, but sometimes when I'm reading a Foster's fic, when it gets a little too angsty, I froget I'm even reading a fic about Foster's anymore. Does anyone else ever get this feeling?

Of course! It's like, why write a fanfic at all? Make up your own characters and try to get it published or something! (I don't like reviewing individual chapters of fics. I prefer to wait til it's all posted and review once, and I think that's more than adequate. That's why I hardly ever post my own stories until they are complete. People tell me I'll get more reviews if I post it by chapter but eh. Besides, I may want to change something earlier on as I'm writing and I don't want people to miss changes like that. Sometimes they're important.) But now we're straying into another thread.
