What's the fabric like on that plush Bloo? Is he smooth, or fuzzy?

He's covered with a soft, velvet-like fuzz of polyester fibers. He's not smooth like a sheet or a pillowcase. He also has a plastic disc under the fabric at his base for support and is fairly stable when standing. Pretty cute, overall.

I was thinking about making a lifesize one out of something kind of like peachskin fabric. It's smooth but feels nice. I was wondering how they did the official one. Thanks.

Happy to help. If you can make your own, I'd say go for it. I think it'll cost less than the one on the CN site. Besides, the creative process is a lot more rewarding than writing a check.

His expression is fairly innocent, which means he's hiding something. ;D Haha, terrific! Now I want him more than ever!

Here he is, in all his plush majesty: www.cartoonnetwork.com/shop/fos/plush/SPC10FOS100.01.htmlI'm not sure he's worth the price, especially after the shipping charges are added on, but yeah, he is so dang cute! I really hope that they release plushees for some of the other characters too; I'm surprised that they didn't, what with Xmas being right around the corner.

Yeah, I agree with you all. Bloo is REALLY refreshing. It's about the time the hero of a story wasn't some really justice-driven all-knowing demigod.
What is so great about Bloo to me is that he's realistic. His reasoning always comes from within his own perceptions, and thus, can be completely outrageous. But like it has been said, one can just imagine that Mac potentially wanted all these things to come out of someone, for someone to just be realistic and outrageous about things.
And God, I love how his reasoning always takes a biased turn when it comes to Mac. Like in the cookie episode, he automatically rules Mac out of working because he's his best friend. Ahh, so cute. And of course, Mac's like "You're terrible!" haha.

And of course, Mac's like "You're terrible!" haha. Yeah despite all of Bloo's sometimes annoying selfishness, I've learned to understand him better, and how he thinks. At first I think it's very easy to start getting angry with him, but after a while, you realize two important facts... 1) He's only five years old, and 2) He has little to worry about in life, and so can be very naive and silly in his reasoning, as you said. But one thing is for sure, he DOES love his Mac...some people say Bloo is 1st on his own list, but I argue that...I think Mac is at LEAST tied. Actually, I strongly feel Bloo may ACT like he cares for himself No.1, but Mac is really at the top of his list. I watched Squeakerboxxx again today, and realized Bloo did everything Mac told him to do (when he did the wrong thing by breaking the toy), even if at times he tried to avoid it by playing around and wasting time. In the end, if he didn't really care about Mac, he wouldn't do a thing he said. So I'm back to adoring Bloo, I understand him now. Unfortunately Coco and Wilt have taken his No.1 spot, so he'll have to settle for being No. 2 on my list. ^_^ ::hugs the Blooregard::

Bloo's a little far down on my favs list. But not much. He makes me laugh.
He's almost like a little brother to Mac, so naturally he'd depend on Mac in times of crisis.

Yeah, and "crisis" is the operative word here....Bloo never seems to be able to stay out of trouble! ^_^

Bloo does have a conscience, though we don't see it very often. Remember in "Seeing Red" how he apologized to Red for being a jerk to him? He clearly felt bad about the way he treated Red, felt guilty about it. And he feared for Cheese's well-being and finally accepted him near the end of "Mac Daddy". Everybody has their good points, even if they don't come out very often. Still, I sometimes wonder if he's really the same Bloo that we met way back in the original movie. That Bloo seemed to be a kinder, gentler Bloo than the one that we saw in "Store Wars" (one of my favorite episodes) and every episode thereafter.

Yes exactly...you made a good point and I noticed that too. It seems to go with the theory that Foster's has changed both Mac and Bloo, in good ways and in bad ways.

Part of why Bloo is what he is may be that he's become complacent. As long as Mac shows up at Foster's every day, what does he have to worry about? He's in a comfortable situation, free from worry or care, which can lead to boredom and acting out. I would love to see the writers do a two-part episode (not a season-ending cliffhanger!) where in part one Mac fails to show up for whatever reason and Bloo finally gets adopted whether he likes it or not. That would shake him up! In part two, Bloo finally comes to understand just how good he had it while Mac desperately tries to get him back. The situation might do both of them some good... and leave the fans going out of their minds for a week!
