I <3 my flute...it is my LIFE. *hugs George* Um, yeah...I named my flute... I can fiddle around with the keyboard a bit...I can play the beginning of the Foster's theme on it, but I can't get the hang of the rest, unfortunately. Oh, and I sing too, but I suppose that's not really an "instrument"

Naming your instrument...that's a pretty cool idea! I never really thought of that, must come up with something! And of course your voice is an instrument, and a unique one at that - no two are the same

...My clarinet's name is Charly. I'd also name the piano I play, but it's really huge and belongs to the family. Sooo. Okay, now I was wondering... has anyone here made an arrangment of the foster's theme? I'm trying to make one for the piano, and right now it just sounds so boring and blah.

I've been meaning to work out some groovy way of playing it on the piano for a while, I must have a go at it soon!

Yeh... I added in extra cords and stuff, and it's just not working. If I do anything else, then it doesn't sound like the same song. :x eep.

I know how to play the flute and piano. I think I'm better at the flute, for I've been practicing it longer (about seven years now). It was also the first instrument I learned to play, and I love my flute! <3 Not that I don't like playing the piano or anything, but the flute is just more precious to me.

I started band camp today, marching is more fun...it's so weird, I'm an orch dork and a band geek at the same time....and I'm on the drumline because I'm playing bells...I think I'll be able to pick it up really fast, because it's so similar to piano, I can play harry potter on it already so I think I'll be alright. although today my main instrument was a shaker that has the strand of beads on it and you rotate it in your hand.... we're playing jungle boogie but we're also playing i wanna be like you from jungle book *band! atten-huit!* *echoing "hit!!!!" that really sounds more like hut* it was alright. except we had to watch this overly tan over weight guy run on the track in front of us with neon orange and pink shorts and a beach towel.... the drum line was rolling for awhile watching him "yah he thinks he's pretty hot" "run man run!"

you know i don't think i've ever heard an oboe before Not many people have. Everyone gets it mixed up with the bassoon. An oboe looks kinda like a clarinet, but smaller, and it sounds higher. Snake charmers use them! Maybe that'll help.
