I can play pretty much all of Partical Man (although I tend to stumble a bit on the fast paced instrumental part). And there's another one, Museum of Idiots, that was on their most recent album, The Spine. It has a lot of accordion in it, which makes it a bit easier to find music for. You can probably imagine how hard it is to find modern music transcribed for the accordion...even if it is They Might Be Giants.

I play piano and I can play some of the Foster's Theme Song on it. That sounds great - I'd love to hear the Foster's theme on piano actually...might try to work that out myself (sounds like it'd be quite tricky though!) Good idea! Have you seen Gigantic Emma? There's a brilliant version of particle man with the two of them just playing along to a metronome, I love that song! And that little break you're talking about is hilarious - don't know why, but everytime I play that song to people for the first time, that bit always makes them laugh! I LOVE Museum Of Idiots! It's one of my favorite songs on The Spine - actually I really like that album too, what do you think of it?

No, I haven't seen Gigantic (though I have heard about it). I'll probably be making a stop by TLA at some point this weekend though, and they always carry quirky stuff like that. And, as for The Spine, I love that album. I had actually heard some bad things about it, but then someone directed me to the Experimental Film video over at H*R.com and I ran out and bought it the same day. Excellent stuff.

I think it's one of their best! I played Memo To Human resources on acoustic with a friend of mine singing harmony at a gig last summer, I love that song! Gigantic is really good, loadsa cool little clips and stuff. I'd give you a loan of it, except for the obvious...difficulties Hernamewascandy: Is it just out of tune, or is it some kind of crazy cool keyboard? Sounds interesting!

it's like this freakishly old piano that has these weird parts and the keys are like rotting kind of... but it sounds awesome
