I love music! As clichéd as it may sound when people say music is their life, I really mean it! I play guitar - any type will do! - keyboards, I sing, and I enjoy messing around with synths, drum machines, and other computer-releted effects (I'm lucky to be doing a course on it in college ) I write music a good bit, and the band I'm in 'Lead Balloon' brought out a little cd last year! We play all sorts of weird music, and my next mission is to compile a series of tv and computer game theme remixes - especially a full band version of a certain cartoon series... What type of music do you both like to play?

"Lead Balloon", that sounds great!
As for me, I played flute until I got cramps in my fingers... in my old school I got a solo in the choir, while in my new one the teacher said I have no voice and threw me out (weird, huh?)...
I love singing... the fact that I can't is another subject...

Ah, I love music! I play the viola in my high school orchestra, and I also enjoy playing my keyboard. Sometimes I find it funny that I play the viola because it's such a classical instrument, but I'm such a rock music addict

I love singing... the fact that I can't is another subject... That's irrelevant! If you're enjoying it, there's no reason why you shouldn't. The flute is such a terrific instrument, sounds so gentle.. imaginaryxlight : my 1st instrument was the piano, and I got lessons in classical piano for years (just never practised enough to get anywhere... ) and up until this year, I played percussion in an orchestra....and I LOVE my crazy loud music too! I think it's great to have broad tastes, there's so much interesting music out there - it's a shame to miss out on any of it. How DO people play the viola/violin!? It's so tricky to hold! :s Always amazes me...

I agree about the violin, and still admire my friend Alex, who plays it perfectly.

Just last year I got a bass guitar, 'cause I wanted to learn. I loved it. Then, Dad got himself an accoustic(an' we're gonna take lessons on that soon. I can't wait!), and then I got me a warlock. I got it so soon because I have fallen in love with guitar and I know I'm takin' accoustic lessons soon, and Woodwind and Brasswind had this AMAZING sale on warlock packs(guitar, amp, bag, ect.). $200 for the lot. Seriously. I went, checked it out, and it was worth it. After much hard workin' with my Dad, I earned enough to buy it. :3 It's amazing.

It seems that you learn easier when you're very young.

I'm sure it's easier when you're younger alright! There's something they do (in Japan I think?) called the Suzuki method, where they start teaching kids really really young...must work! How long have you been playing it so?
