No, definately not - and I've made A LOT of my friends sit down and watch it with me! I think people are conditioned to distance themselves from 'childish' things as they grow up, it really upsets me - basically anything that requires you to use your imagination is 'kid's stuff'... I'm actually trying to write a book at the moment about regressing back somewhat and enjoying childish behaviour, no matter what age you are - it's something I feel that everyone should be allowed to do! Well done for showing it to your class, that's great!

Thanks! My teacher is cool, and she let us bring in videos on Wednesdays at the beginning of last year. My friend bought in 'Mac Daddy' to watch another week, but everyone else voted against it and instead we watched wrestling -_-

Heh, I make my friends watch stuff I like too. The good thing is that most of my friends like what I do. ^^

Dude, you have the coolest class ever!

I feel so "apart" from everyone right now.....and that is because even if I tried to acomplish something like duplin did....Not only would i die of humiliation....but the more time I spend listening to the oppinions of others...the more I become more courageous......And at one point I wondered why I was interested in fosters cause I also at one point though of cartoons only aimed at children....And now that i see all of you,all of you have changed my oppinion completely....Although i think i never will get the courage to ever tell my siblings im a foster fan.... XD (I feel like i got off topic for a few words)....Its not just a kid cartoon...Its for everyone who is interested...

So....You're afraid of losing respect, or something, just because you like a cartoon? I guess I wouldn't know what that feels like...For me, it's one of those things where you can't lose what ya never had. XD

As far as I'm concerned, if people don't like what I'm watching, be it Foster's, Star Trek, a documentary on Mayan pottery, whatever, they are perfectly free to watch something else. Not, however, on my TV.

That's way beyond unfair.

G-Man, if someone doesn't respect what you're interested in that's their problem - if everyone liked the same things the world would be a very different place. It's not 'weird' that you like cartoons (no matter what you think others might say) - just think of yourself as being one of the privilaged folk who can enjoy stuff like this no matter what. As you can see (and I don't think anyone would object to me saying so) we're a pretty cool bunch!

This very topic-watching animation, and Foster's in particular-nearly sparked a fight in my last class yesterday. One of the sixth-graders noticed my Wilt scupture, which has adorned the top of my computer for months now, for the very first time. This kid had never watched the show, so he asked me, "What is that little red dude?" I explained to him who it was, and that on the show Wilt was not exactly "little", to which another kid(one of those who thinks he's really cool, but isn't)had to put in his two-cents' worth, "Don't tell me YOU watch that stupid baby show!" Before *I* even had time to respond, over half the class came to the VIGOROUS defense of Fosters, including the class bad-(another word for donkey), with a "YEAH, I watch it-you gotta PROBLEM with THAT!" The kid who thought that Fosters, and animation in general, was for babies found out REALLY quick that he was a minority, and merely insinuating that there was something wrong with liking Wilt would NOT earn you the admiration of the girls in the class, LOL! He wisely decided to keep his mouth shut and keep his opinions to himself.

XD Haha! You'd better feel lucky, PBL. Barely anyone where I live like ANY cartoons in general! There are lots of people who say, "Yeah, cartoons are a'ight.", but I think I may be the biggest cartoon fanatic around.
