I see, well having Zim as your first and only cartoon is a good way to begin and end...Invader Zim is a great show. Poo on Nick for cancelling it.
So, Gir DID strave people.....out of candy!!!! Hmmmmm.....still susssspicousssssss. I haven't seen the Halloween ep in such a long time, I HAVE to go buy the other Zim DVDs.

Totally.
Mmhmm! I've watched the Halloween one a bunch of times. It's one of my favorites. Probably because it made me feel so bad for Zim.

Uh, don't we already have a Zim thread over in "Way Off Topic"? I think this one's supposed to be about people who watch Foster's (and Zim) and the ignoramuses who give us grief about it. Why do they do this? Are their own lives so miserable that they need to stamp out happiness in others, attacking the simple joy we find in an innocent cartoon? It seems so sad to me, so very sad .

Oh, ya, sorry. ^_^; We went a little OT for a bit didn't we? Um......anyway, I think what you're saying is true to be IC, but I have to go right now.

Sorry-ness. Yeah, there's a Zim board.
Really, I don't know why I'm here then. XD My family loves cartoons. 'Cept my Dad. Here's a conversation between me an' my Dad: Dad: *gives me a strange look from in the kitchen* What're you watchin' in there? Me: Zim. Dad: Zim? Me: Yup. Dad: *comes in and watches for a bit* And you think this stuff is funny? Me: Yeah! Dad: Just hilarious? Me: Most definately. Dad: *shakes head and leaves*
He doesn't mind me watchin' what I like to watch, but he finds it pointless watching it himself. Mom loves Zim, though. She hasn't really seen a Foster's episode(except for when we went on vacation and saw WWW, and even then she was too busy to pay too much attention to it), though I'm sure she'd like it. I put up a picture of Wilt as the computer background, and here's that conversation: Mom: Who's that? Me: That's Wilt. He's my favorite Foster's character. Mom: *after looking at him for a few seconds* Why does he look like that? Me: Oh, he wasn't imagined that way. Somethin' bad happened to 'im, and no one knows what. The creators won't spill. Mom: The creators are disgusting then. Thinkin' up a beat up character like that...*walks off*
There, now that I've typed out what I'm sure is my longest post yet, and probably annoyed ya'll to no end with my mindless chattering(talkin' about stuff you probably don't care about), I'll end it here.

My parents used to give me grief every time I watched "Thundercats", "Masters of the Universe", or "Wheeled Warriors", among others. My brother was just as bad. None of them let me alone until they finally figured out that I wasn't paying the slightest attention to anything they said. Oh, and I moved out. That helped, and in so many ways. Don't worry about what you call your "mindless chattering". I admire your enthusiasm.

Haha, are these last few posts reminding anybody else of a certain pale blue imaginary friend's efforts to understand sarcasm?

When I brought an episode of Foster's into school to watch in registration, the general complaint was that it was a baby's show, even though most of the class laughed at several moments (the episode in question was WTAWTAW). However, the eldest in the room, my teacher, said she liked it a lot and that she thought it was very cute.
It's because technically, and stereotypically, Foster's should be a children's programme-it's a cute animination about imaginary friends, and that to people does sound like it is for youngsters. Has anyone who has properly sat down and watched it with you seriously said it's stupid and for children?
