What I find weird about Duchess is in the piolet, she'd KILL (literally) to get out of the house, but in Duchess of Wails, she couldn't BE more picky. Or rude, for that matter. I mean, what the dealio, Craig? Lauren?

I just can't imagine anyone would willingly create Duchess. I think she came out of some child's nightmare. (As I believe can happen with IFs.)

I wonder, though, what being a "pedigree" or "purebred" friend is all about. Does that mean she WASN'T imagined, and was instead pureBRED from some famous imaginary friends? Hmm...

Excellent question. All I can think of is that maybe she was imagined by a member of the aristocracy, perhaps an exiled Count or Baron from somewhere in eastern Europe.

Another thing about Duchess in Duchess of Wails, she's become lazy. Even more lazy than Garfield the Cat. I mean, Garfield doesn't make Jon open his eyelids for him!

He would if he thought to do it. =P And I dun think it was laziness that made her have everyone do all the for her. She just wants everyone to feel miserable that she's around so that they "send her away, send her away!"

I don't think it's laziness or meanness; I think she feels genuinely entitled to be served by others.

Eh, could be that too.
It'll be interesting to see if her creator shows up in GWH...

I think a LOT of interesting things will happen in that movie. The wait is killing me.

*twitch* I'd've died from the wait already, but I won't let myself die until I've seen it.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" "Ha, you can't kill me! I can't die until AFTER November. Then I can rest in peace." ">.< Dork."

I'm planning to make a deluxe DVD set out of it; GWH, the pilot, and a few other episodes to round it out. If I feel ambitious enough I may add a booklet of some sort. Assuming that I restock my supply of printer ink, that is.
