Everyone's favorite potato loving guardian friend. Is it just me, or has he gotten even more frighten of things since season 1. Also I wonder what happened when Ed first met Wilt? They seem to be good amigos now, but I imagine Wilt's appearance quite shook Ed when they first met. In fact I imagine a lot of fellow IFs scared the bejebus out of Ed...

Yeah, he does seem to have gotten worse. You've got to give him credit, though, 'cause he does find his courage when he really has to.

Yeah, I can imagine that a LOT of the home's residents DID indeed scare the bejeebus out of poor Ed, LOL! He'd sure have a coronary in MY house, that's for certain, with all my snakes and tarantulas! It's really funny, though, when someone tries to take his picture or video him. Where he got that notion that the camera will "steal his soul" is beyond me; maybe someone in his creator's family was into Santeria or something. pitbulllady

Actually, the Amish are against having their photos made, or any artistic rendering, because of this, the second of the Ten Commandments, which I post here simply for references:
2nd Commandment; Verses 4-6: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."
It's the "thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image" part that leads to that belief, since a "graven image" means any photo, drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. that represents a living thing, human or otherwise. Even Amish-made dolls have no faces because of this. *I* interpret it, as do most people, to mean not to make any graven image of anything to WORSHIP, like an idol of some sort, but they(along with Orthodox Jews and Muslims)take it literally to mean you cannot make any respresentation of a living thing, period, for any reason.

I hate Eduardo! He is so annoying! e screams and roars like a baby and runs around squashing everyone in his path. He acts like a sissy baby too, especialy in S. And in AN-My god! He got on my nerves so badly!

I see Ed as being my favorite on the show among the IF. I do find it funny at times that he can be totally fearless like in "Eddie Monster" and in other eps like "Camp Keep a good Mac down" he's afraid of everything that moves. Still I would have no problem with the big guy as he is quite affectionate and very loyal, probably likes to cuddle too. But still it would be interesting to meet the kid who created him. But I have noticed when he get mad he gets mad.

I agree with both sides. He can be great but also a little too scaredy for me. He's loveable though, I can't hate him. ^_^ ~Ami~

Sheesh...my dad and me both like Wilt (in fact, he even said while I was watching it, "I'd love to meet the kid that abandoned Wilt and smack them upside the head) but he's annoyed with Eduardo for his cowardace. I love Ed. His cowardace is fine by me. I have many phobias as well, so I can relate. So the crying, yelling and overall 'AHHH! WHAT IS THAT?! GET AWAY, GET AWAY!...it['ll] steal my soul...' is 5 by 5 with me.

You know who Eduardo reminds me of? Fedinand the Bull, who prefered to smell the flowers then fight...

That sounds more like Red than Ed, but you've got a point.

I'd say more like Courage the Cowardly dog. He has to be brave often, but finds himself still extremely frightened.

I love ed! He's my favorite character on the show. I'll agree that he is a little like Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Also loved his interaction with Cheese.

Didn't you just love the scene in "Go Goo Go" where Goo says to him, "You know what's really scary?", and you exactly what's about to happen? That was a classic!
