You should tell the seller person. I don't know what they'd be able to do about it, but they'd probably like to know so um.... they can suggest insurance to people...?

I love Bloo, and wouldn't change a thing about him. If he wasn't such jerk I don't think I would like him as much. It's his spunky, selfish attitude that makes him so great. Granted, he is frikkin' adorable. I love his voice and all the facial expressions he's capable of. He's the simplest character but he has the widest range of visible emotions. I read somewhere that he won an award in some country for being the best animated character, and I can totally see why. Bloo may seem like a character that cares only about himself, and that is true to some degree, but it's also obvious, expecially in recent episodes, that he totally relies on Mac's attention for his happiness. I think since being put in Foster's he's had some issues with self worth. Mac's mother deeming him too childish to live with the family, and the whole abandonment scare. He's probably paranoid that Mac may one day lose interest in him and leave him to be adopted, thus always acting out and battling for his attention. Foster's has clearly changed him. He's gone from being nice (but quirky and having his selfish moments) to a total brat, to a total brat with small redeeming moments, and I think all of them are different stages of him dealing with Mac only being a visitor. He was probably bitter about it for quite some time, and didn't want to care about Wilt, Ed, Coco, and the rest. But now he's starting to see that he needs and fits in with them just as much as he needs Mac. Or I could be totally wrong, but whatever. I enjoy Bloo's changes in character. He still remains uniquely Bloo, but he's progressing, he has his ups and downs, which makes him more realistic. We must remember, also, that Bloo came from the same family as Mac, and I think that family clearly has it's problems. Bloo is starting to learn, though, that being a complete jerk is no way for him to get accepted. He's starting to notice that all the "wonderful" things he does are causing the other imaginary friends, and Mac, to look down on him as a "Big, insesitive jerkface". Not that I ever think he'll become a perfect little angel, (as a matter of fact, I would be apalled where he to become well behaved) but I think he's learning to swallow his pride now and again to keep the friends he relies on so much. Kageri, that link is horribly, horribly cute. Thank you.

I read somewhere that he won an award in some country for being the best animated character, and I can totally see why. That country would be Italy (Bloo won "best new animated character" at the Cartoons on the Bay festival.) That's why I sometimes refer to Bloo as "Italy's number one cartoon character".

I enjoy moaning like Bloo too! It's like my......6th favorite thing to do! I guess we all identify with different parts of him - he's like everyone's inner brat Bloo may seem like a character that cares only about himself, and that is true to some degree, but it's also obvious, expecially in recent episodes, that he totally relies on Mac's attention for his happiness. I think since being put in Foster's he's had some issues with self worth. Mac's mother deeming him too childish to live with the family, and the whole abandonment scare. I don't really know where to start, but I really enjoyed reading that post - my feelings exactly! Interesting how you say that Bloo "totally relies on Mac's attention for his happiness"....as much as he's LIKE to distance himself and be all independant (like any kid would be, given a place like Foster's to roam free in and lord over), there's plenty of evidence to support that (Room With A Feud springs to mind). He's just really lonely, I think. And I LOVE the way he's had to be a little mature about things in a few of the more recent episodes - it's really good! Maybe the idea that Foster's has changed him accounts for his completely different personality in the pilot? Maybe it's just me - and I've only seen the pilot in fragments and not very often - but I thought he was a lot more humble and naive back then.

Maybe it's just me - and I've only seen the pilot in fragments and not very often - but I thought he was a lot more humble and naive back then. Everybody here has amazing insight. I agree with all statements about Bloo and that's why I feel it's easy to dislike him at first because one tends to feel he's way too much of a jerk. But then you see WHY, and you realize.... "Aw, that's so sweet. He just misses his creator." Again I emphasize, Bloo has NO world without Mac. Everything he does proves it. But that's why this show is wonderful. It emphasizes the strong bond that two great friends can have, and how Mac is a gem among humans because he truly cares about his Imaginary Friend and has no motive whatsoever to ever get rid of him. (We assume, anyhow.) And yet, Bloo doesn't fully trust that. Sadly that's because he knows, almost by instinct, that most Imaginaries get abandoned at one point or another. I mean that IS why Foster's exists.

I guess that's why a lot of people like to write about Mac getting older and forgetting about everyone at Foster's. But I like to think that they'll be bestbestbestbest friends forever, will never grow up and so on and so forth. That's part of why I love them so much. The bond they share is just too cute. And people may think they fight too much, but that just emphasizes their friendship. How many best friends would still be best friends after all the fighting they've done?
