Okay I'm guessing since a thread wasn't made about this episode like a week in advance like usual (which means I'm finally the person to START A DISCUSSION ABOUT AN EPISODE), it would be unwise to put in spoilers (but I will say that Mac's behavior shocked me) lest I get "GEE THANKS NOW I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS YOU JERK"-type comments. However, it was awesome, it had a Star Wars reference, it had a bunch of PPG references, and I have decided drastic measures must be taken:

Just caught this one-still wiping tears from my eyes and clutching my aching side! I swear, this episode was SOOOOO funny! There were to many in-jokes and references to keep up with! I managed to catch The Incredibles-Bloo and Buddy-now THAT would be a team, though Bloo would probably make fun of Buddy's real and chosen name, but hey, Bloo could be the B to Buddy's S, so together they'd be BS! But, I digress...caught the many Star Wars references, and Wilt's Jaws reference right there at the beginning, too. There was still too much for my brain to take in all at once, though.
Poor Eduardo thought he was watching a tv show the whole time. NOBODY listened to what Edna had to say about capes, and look where it got 'em! Like Ed, I totally did not see that ending coming up, either, though I thought it was wonderful that the two siblings showed up to adopt their long-lost Superhero/Villainess Imaginary Friends.
Wanna know what was REALLY great, though?
METALLICA IN DRAG! I mean, where ELSE but Foster's can I see my favorite metal band in girly outfits? James looked so irked, and Quirk...I mean, KIRK, looked...well, normal for him, actually. That made up for the fact that Wilt was only in this episode for a few minutes right at the beginning.

SUPERCABLE WHOOSH Oh, and I've decided one spoiler won't hurt: DUMBLEDORE DIES.....no but seriously, I actually felt bad for Bloo in this one. Yeah, I did too. He had that whole Buddy Pine-rejected-sidekick-turns-to-the-dark-side thing down, just without the brains to create all those cool weapons(I would so love to have my own Zero-Point Energy gloves; it could revolutionize the teaching profession). I thought at first that's where they were going with the hair gel thing. Man, could Nemisis totally screw up a NASCAR race, or what? pitbulllady

Well, this episode was definitely an interesting diversion from the standard "Bloo treats Mac like crap" fare.... well..... kind of. But, and I'm cereal serious here..... MAC HOW COULD YOU?!
And yeah, I could kind of understand Bloo's actions in this one. I mean.... Mac made him cry! DDDD:

I loved it! A good pace, silly but not overly so, in-jokes, and an unexpected twist at the end. What more could you ask for? This one was worth the wait.

I'd do it for ya, CG, but.... I have no idea how. I assume it involves first putting it on a DVD (thanks to TiVo), then somehow converting it to some other format on my computer, but I don't know how to do those either. :[

DDDD: Yes, that part had me nearly crying myself. I don't know why, but hearing Bloo cry makes me want to bawl. I was kinda shocked at what Mac did...but then again, it seems the writers are trying to use the old "What goes around comes around..." Bloo has MORE then once done such things to Mac, and so, he got a little karma back, me thinks. Still, this episode made me understand Bloo even more, and now I completely understand all his shennanigans, all his misgivings, just everything about him. And I love him even more because of it! Go Bloo! ^.^ I also realize that I kinda proved correct one of my own theories. Bloo does everything to get attention (including being bad), ESPECIALLY the attention of his creator. I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in Bloo's mind he has a shrine to Mac. Aww....if I had an Imaginary Friend who liked me that much I'd have no choice but to keep him forever too. ^_^ Mac is proving that he too has shortcomings...like his temper... ::giggle::....but that's why Mac and Bloo kind of even each other out...they are both flawed characters, with Mac being a little more of the voice of reason and intelligent mind, but one can't be without the other. Mac was overwhelmed with being important for once, so I think he got a little too absorbed in it and hurt Bloo's feelings. (PLEASE, NOTE TO MAKERS OF THE CARTOON, NEVER...EVER...MAKE BLOO CRY AGAIN!!! I'll be depressed for a week!) Yeeesh, enough rambling. I just go on sometimes...

That's why I love 'em so much. They just make the best team. They're a dynamic duo!
But yeah, that was just bru... tal. I mean, he even did it in that "little girl" way that made it even more depressing.
Edit: Okay, I decided I have more to add. I'm not sure why I love Mac and Bloo so much, but I'm thinkin' one reason is that I've always been amused by the "straight man/comic relief" dynamic in relationships. But one of the great things about Mac and Bloo's friendship is that that's not all there is. Bloo isn't always just the comic relief and Mac isn't always just the straight man. Their relationship is just so interesting and dynamic that I can't help but love them and draw them all the time (it helps that Bloo's got such a hilariously pliable face, he's like Jim Carrey or something).
In conclusion, I love Mac and Bloo. They're so opposite but play off of each other so well.
