I'm being denied access. I moved it to Imageshack. I wish I knew why so many people have trouble seeing my images. I can't put *everything* on Imageshack, especially when I pay up the wazoo for so much space on my own site.

Still can't find it. I did, however, find this: sims.ambertation.de/The program looks extremely useful, although it may end up turning my neighborhoods into four irradiated wastelands. We'll see.

No Sims 2 player should miss this one: www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=130486&rid=121760This is a detailed list of all the career chance cards and their possible outcomes. There's still no way to know, however, which answer is the right one when the card pops up; that's completely random. It's interesting reading, if nothing else.

I admit I always ignore the chance cards nowadays.

If you pick the wrong answer, you can always return to the neighborhood without saving the lot first. What I do is save the lot just before my Sim heads off to work, so if I quit to get out of a wrong answer I lose nothing. When I return to the lot, the chance card usually doesn't show up again; if it does, I click the other answer and hope that it hasn't changed. (I think this is called "cheating" by the purists; I prefer to call it "problem solving.)

Well, I only have The Sims, so I know little about chance cards... but if eg. my Sim gets burned to death or stuff, I usually don't save. I don't think it's cheating.

Oh, they're big fun. Choose right, your Sim gets skill points, cash, or a promotion. Choose wrong, they get the opposite, come home in a foul mood, and overeat. The last chance card I got, I choose right and my Sim, a miss Veronica Roxton, gained $75,000! (She later hired a maid and bought a hot tub.)

I thought that one was coming out in November. I remember it saying November, because my birthday is in November.

I'm not sure which patch you mean. I've downloaded and installed every patch on the official site with no problems.

This is a bit off-topic, but I strongly suggest using tinypic.com, because it is awesome, and best of all, the URL will always be tiny! */advertising*

I thought that one was coming out in November. I remember it saying November, because my birthday is in November. The press release says October 17, although that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's available for preorder now at the main site. Uh, do I just have to download the stuff or put it in a special folder? Downloads go in a special folder, but you don't usually have to do anything other than just download it; the Body Shop program knows where to install it.
