I'm kinda surprised no one made a mental connection of a saw and his amputated arm. But I'm very dark like that. Eeek. But I doubt that's why he cried, because of some bad memory. Think it was the bed thing. But whoa...if someone had used a saw on Wilt...think I'd go bawl for a while. o.o ~Ami~ Whatever originally happened to Wilt's arm(and I totally failed to make any connection between the arm and the saw), the remaining amputation was done by a surgeon, with the end padded with muscle to facilitate attachment of a prosthetic arm, if Wilt had been able to use one, or afford it(which obviously he was not in either case). Surgeons DO use a saw to go through bone to amputate limbs, by the way. I still think that Wilt's emotions were due to having to destroy something he REALLY wanted in order to try to get...something he REALLY wanted. pitbulllady

That scene with the bed is the only time I've actually seen him tear up-reminded me of a guy I know who had to sign over his bass boat to his ex-wife as alimony, seriously. Guys are like that; they'll "man up" and refuse to cry when you think that the situation warrents it, but will break down over something like a bed or a fishing boat or the outcome of a NASCAR race(seen THAT happen, too). I'm like that too. Not about races, though, but probably would be if I was into that sort of thing.

There WERE tears in his eyes in Foster's Goes to Europe. You can see them if you look really closely. Poor poor Wilt...I wanna hug him.

I heard him sniffle a bit and he sounded like he was going to burst into tears at any moment, but I don't remember actually SEEING tears. Wow, I guess he REALLY wanted to go to Europe if his reaction was THAT strong.

Well, his reaction may or may not have had any bearing on how much he actually wanted to go to Europe. He had given his ticket away at one point and didn't seem to broken up about it.

There were absolutely NO tears in Wilt's eyes at the end of FGTE. You do mean when they all come in the door at Foster's and tell Mac how disappointed they are in him, right? I just rewatched that scene, fullsize (I usually watch the eps in a very small window, but I watched this on my full 17" monitor this time) and I swear, no tears. I'd take a screencap for you if there were. He does sniffle and wipe his eyes, but there's nothing visible to wipe away. I guess in theory if he's wiping his eyes, that you could say that they were wet from crying previously, though the animators didn't bother to put any actual water there in the *onscreen* bit.

I didn't recall seeing any tears in Wilt's eye at that point, either, Sparky. He DID sniffle a bit, but his reaction was typical for someone who is REALLY trying very hard to hold back on his anger. Wilt knows he can't really go off on Mac like he feels like doing at that moment, so he's really struggling to hold that anger inside. I don't know how many of you, male or female, have ever been REALLY mad at someone...and you totally could do nothing about it. Maybe it was a boss at work(Been There, Done That)who's just chewed you out, or a teacher at school, or a parent of a kid you teach at school, or a customer at work(and the customer is ALWAYS right, right?), but you just couldn't say or do what you really wanted to say or do, so that emotion does sorta tend to well up like that, just as it does with Wilt. The only other time on the series that I've actually seen him cry, and I mean bawl, was in the pilot episode today, when they all thought that Mac had really abandoned Bloo after all. Considering Wilt's own abandonment issues, it's no wonder he'd sympathize with someone else he thought was truelly being abandoned to that extent, especially after he, and everyone else(except nay-sayer Herriman)had gotten their hopes up that Mac would turn out to be different, and keep his word to visit Bloo after school. Other than that, Wilt tends to "bottle up" negative emotions(like many guys do)and not let on too much when something is bothering him. pitbulllady

I can't believe I missed it... And, PB, the very first time anyone would see tears in Wilt's eye is World Wide Wabbit, but he was just laughing so hard to the point of tears. That can happen to anyone, though. XD

That can happen to anyone, though. XD That's why I didn't count that episode, since he was laughing, not actually crying. This show has done that to me MANY times; between Foster's and "My Name is Earl", I've come close to losing a $400.00 Torgue contact lens more than once, and I sure hope that there's no health issues with snorting soda out through your nose, or I'm a goner! pitbulllady
