I find this not only attractive, but refreshing. Very much so. She's not overly PMS-y even when she's overworked like heck, and she has what is possibly the greatest character design of any cartoon female ever. It's just so original and she has great hair and *gushes over Frankie's attractiveness*.... and, plus, you know those cartoon babes who are always trying to look attractive and hot? She just is. It just works for her.

.... and, plus, you know those cartoon babes who are always trying to look attractive and hot? You're talking about a certain red-haired siren that used to hang out with a jock, a nerd, a pothead, and a talking dog, right? She was my #1 for a very long time, until about a year ago... One thing about Frankie that I've never seen mentioned by anyone here is that her ears are drawn differently now than they were in the earlier episodes. I can't possibly be the only one who's noticed this. I like the newer version better than the original.

Yes Vaughn told me that a few of the characters got slight redesigns. Of course the only one I really noticed myself was Terrence.

Plus, she's not as fashion-conscious, yet has better fashion sense! Okay, maybe that's not fair. I mean, Foster's isn't forty years old, so uh.... where was I? Oh yeah... Yeah, I noticed her ears are different; they're like.... more defined, or something. Plus, she used to have those long hair things (or whatever they are) in front of her ears and those are gone too. Let's see.... you've got Frankie, so.... What's better: personality, a rocking bod or getting my nose broken by Cassini's Mallet of Matrimony? Okay, I get this chick! CHECK IT OUT EVERYBODY! I WAS FIRST! I WAS FIRST!

"Mallet of Matrimony"?
Looks can certainly attract attention, but you need personality to hold that attention (at least I'd like to think that's the case, but practical experience tells me... well, that's another story). Frankie's been blessed with both. Ultimately, personality is more important, to me if no one else.

Yeah, her personality is what I like about her, but she's not half bad lookin' either (her legs kinda bother me though... they're like... straight!). Have I mentioned that she has the coolest hair EVER? I don't know how it would work in real life but it is FANTASTIC.

I'm not finished with the design, not by a long shot, but maybe she'd look something like this: ( Sigh...) I think I'm in love...

I'll take that as a compliment, but like I said, she's a work in progress. Mr. Herriman has been the easiest to do thus far, the rest have been harder. It will be interesting to see if she looks any different after a few sessions on the treadmill.

I know next to nothing about the Sims, but is it possiblr to put that PPG pattern thing on her shirt.... uh.... somehow? Either way, she looks great, even as a work in progress. :3

It can be done (others have done it), but I'm not that familiar with the process yet, plus that Adobe Photoshop program is a pain in the tuckus to work with. I'll probably post a screencap or two in the Sims thread fairly soon, even if it's just a shot of the house.

Eh . . . Hate to rain on your parade, Cassini, but SimFrankie is definitely not Frankie for me.
For me, Frankie represents a breath of fresh air in the world of animated females. She is not cartoonishly thin and she lacks the ridiculously long legs, jutting hips and gravity-defying chest of the girls found in anime, comics and most animated features. She is slightly slouched, has a bit of a belly, and a tastefully proportionate upper body. She also displays a fabulous balance of character; She's feminine without being girlie and assertive without being "butch."
She doesn't look like a doll. She looks like a girl.
Above all else, she is very natural and confident and that's what I find most attractive about her ^_^

I suspect that, while we are undoubtedly looking at the same cartoon, we see her in different ways. Your description of her is dead-on accurate, and her being "very natural and confident" is one of her most beautiful qualities. As for her Sim counterpart, please bear in mind that while humans have over a thousand different body types, Sims have two: male and female. I have to work within the limits of the program. But within those limits, this is not too terribly far off from what I see in my mind when I watch the show. And to me, every version of her is beautiful.

I agree with you, fala, although I have to argue that Frankie is indeed cartoonishly thin (in the show, anyways). However, she is attractive and has a very refreshing and balanced personality. She is, in a sense, three-dimensional.
I'm glad that being slightly slouched isn't too unattractive because I have the worst posture ever. Seriously. Shaggy looks like a solider at attention next to me.
