O.O I didn't know she was a singer! It's true! Ya learn somethin' every day! PX Well that would be a boon once Foster's does the inevitable "Musical Episode", oh yes it is inevitable. It hasn't been announced, it probably hasn't even been written yet. In fact the whole concept is probably still a primordial ooze of an idea waiting to gush from the fertile minds of Amy, Adam, Lauren and Craig. But something tells me it will happen.

Oh no. I hope they've learned their lesson after the Fairly Oddparents musical, the lesson being that most of those characters are not the types of characters we want to hear sing. With the exception of maybe Frankie for obvious reasons.

You know, when I first watched this show I did have a misconception about the character of Frankie... I thought she was 16.
Maybe perhaps because I have played too many Japanese RPG's that feature well endowed female characters that were a lot younger then they looked.

Jeez, me too, it didn't help that some websites called her Madame Foster's "teenage granddaughter".
Anime is poisoning our minds!

Sure, not all of it particularly sounded...Good...But it was still funny, and that's all that mattered to me. And hey, Wilt can sing! He proved that in T-Rexatron! Pfff...But I dun really think a musical would be a great idea for Foster's. Can't really see it happening. Well...Maybe. *shrugs* I can't say I'd be too excited if they did.

Yeah, Wilt can sing too.... and there was nothing particularly wrong with the FOP musical, or the Valentine's Day episode, but.... Timmy Turner singing? Just... no.

Eh...True...I feel bad for Tara Strong. o.o I could never sing with a squeaky voice like that...For long, anyways. I wonder how badly that kinda stuff hurts voice actors' and actresses' voices...I know that Richard Horvitz and Rikki Simons had hard times with Zim and Gir, 'cause they always had to do that screaming...

I acted out a 2 Supid Dogs episode I had written for my animation writing class once. I also did part of an Aaaahh! Real Monsters screenplay I did for the final project. After doing Little Dog and Ickis, omg. My poor voice. I actually do wonder if Tara Strong can sing, does anyone know? I mean, when she's not trying to sound like a ten-year-old boy. She sang as Clare Brewster in one Beetlejuice episode, but it was *meant* to be a bad song so I can't tell from that.

I can talk like ET, even though he scares me, and it doesn't hurt my voice. Very convenient for Halloween. That's a good question... Maybe she can't sing? I don't like some of her voices, like Tommy from Rugrats and Timmy Turner. They sound like they inhaled helium and have perpetual flemmy throats.

Tara Stong actually has a really pretty voice she sings a song for the march of dimes, and I think it's here www.tarastrong.com ;D

Oh, cool. Maybe they wanted Timmy Turner's voice to be annoying. And, it sorta is, it makes me think of a chipmunk. A chipmunk voice is nice on Chip and Dale, but, not on Timmy, IMO.

Just a general reply, I suppose.
I love Frankie. She's one of the most wonderfully confident and natural cartoon femmes I've yet seen. Most animated heroines seem generally very cookie-cutter to me, but Frankie is neither insecure, nor overly catty and she is niether coy nor boyish. She also doesn't look like she robbed the Barbie bank proportion-wise.
She's got a very realistic flair and style all her own without following stereotypes. I find this not only attractive, but refreshing.
Quite nice to see a cartoon girl who actually looks and acts like a girl ^_^

Have any of you heard Tara Strong sing? She had a part in the "Lilo and Stitch" series, playing a saucy female Experiment, "Angel", whom Stitch totally falls for, and part of her powers include the ability to sing an enigmatic song that entrances other Experiments and causes them to do evil things. She has a really lovely singing voice, actually, although in that ep she manages to alternate between that and snarling like a, well, female dog, even if it was an alien Experiment dog!
