My homestate got a mention! Though Singapore not in it! I'm guessing this is the second time that Mac's mother has appeared. Does anyone know what the battle scene was parodying? I what to say Lord of The Rings, but I have a feeling that's not right...

Yep, it was "LOTR", specifically the Battle of Helm's Deep. How'd ya like Wilt's impersonation of Legolas?
What, you mean Singapore really ISN'T in Wisconsin?

"The Two Towers", and obviously, the carrots--"eh--what's up, doc?" I'm going to watch this episode again tonight. I was thinking right before the end why the heck most of the Foster's gang (except for Bloo, Mac, and Duchess [she seemed to be neutral]) formed an alliance with Terrence, but the episode was executed perfectly--with a great way to end it. Although Duchess is not even close to be a favorite character of mine, I'd really hate to see her go permanently. DOW became my new #1 favorite episode.

Funny episode. I loved the music they played when Bloo showed us his mittens. As for Duchess, what can I say? Always exaspirating, always amusing, she's my favorite of the series' antagonists. Definitely a far cry from Goofball, whom I still want to kill.

I really liked this episode. No matter how much I hate Duchess, her insults make me laugh.
And I really did like that battle scene at the end. I was killing myself laughing.
But I must say my favorite part was with Bloo and his mittens.

I mentioned this elsewhere (not here, though)--did you guys spot the Dr. Seuss-like imaginary friend (Masseussy)?

Absolutely great episode... yeah, I'm biased because this had the "honor" of coming right after IHFU...MEUP, meaning I was glad to see some dignity restored to Frankie's character. But the episode itself was great, and one of the season's best.

Ever since I first seen this episode, I couldin't get over Duchess wanting to gargle somebody else's mouthwash. I mean, that's a little gross to me, even if it came striaght from Wilt, pre-gargled. Well, I wouldin't be as grossed out if Wilt handed me his pre-gargled mouth wash, but she wasin't even a fangirl! If only I could think of a guy that doesn't have a fangirl.....hmmmmm, Oh I know, let's use Mr Herriman! It's okay though if you're a Mr. H fangirl, but anyway.....Let's use this example, If Mr. Herriman gargled mouthwash, spit it in a cup, and handed it to you, would you want to gargle his pre-gargled mouthwash? Mabe it's just me....

To be honest, I'm sure there are a fair amount of Mr. Herriman fangirls out there(I'm a fan myself, though I'm male )... but I'll just abstain on the whole pre-gargled mouthwash topic. Back on the episode--is it just me, or was Bloo radically different in this episode, at least compared to some of the other Season 3 episodes? He was a complete jerk in episodes like CKAGMD, Imposter's, FGTE and Crime After Crime, yet he was actually very likeable in DOW(I loved the mittens). Also, we actually saw Mac and Bloo working together as friends, instead of getting on each other's nerves as they often did around this time.

Well, look at it this way, in a lot of the episodes you mentioned Bloo stood to lose nothing by acting like a jerk, or, in some cases, stands to gain from doing so (i.e. Crime After Crime). Bloo is the very definition of "one track mind". He sees something he wants and basically blocks out everything else in order to get to it. I don't think he even perceives he's being mean, I just think he's so overwhelmingly enthusiastic about whatever it is he's trying to do that he just doesn't care what happens in order to do it. For example, in Duchess of Wails, Mac is in danger of moving away and leaving Bloo forever. And, contrary to what a lot of people think based on Bloo's jerkiness, Bloo does (and always has) cared about Mac a lot. Bloo's big "want" in this episode is for Mac to stay with him, so he's willing to work as hard as he can to achieve that. Even if it means being a complete jerk to Duchess. And honestly, I think Bloo's likability is all in the eye of the beholder. I happen to find him insanely likable when he's being an a*s.
