If I were Mac and chose the Europe trip over the cash prize, the only person I'd have allowed to come with me would be Frankie.
...in fact, now that I think about it, I'd stay behind and instead let Frankie go to Europe on her own. She deserves a vacation far more than any of the others.

You know, everyone's saying that Mac should've invited his family first. I agree, but hey, how do we know that he DIDN'T do just that and we just didn't see him do it (you know what I mean? Maybe like an off-camera sort of thing)? He might have asked his mom, but she was too busy at the time and just couldn't take the time to go. That would explain why SHE didn't go with Mac in "Foster's Goes to Europe". Now, as for Terrence, I highly doubt that Mac would invite him in the first place. Just look at how they treat each other and how mean Terrence is to him! Would YOU invite your bully of an older brother if he treated YOU like that? Yeah, didn't think so. However, he more than likely would have ended up going anyway if Mac's mom went because why on earth would she leave one of her sons behind and take the other one?

I mentioned that idea in another thread. I would guess that he asked Mom first, but we'll probably never know. I'm with voxxyn, though; I'd rather go with Frankie any day.

Yeah, I agree that Frankie is probably the most deserving of a vacation. I mean, the poor girl barely gets any time off. She has to really appreciate the time that she actually HAS off and take advantage of it because it's pretty obvious that she doesn't get much time off by the way she complains about it sometimes. So she should be the one that gets to go first. She's definitely the most deserving.

So now they have went ahead and came right out with the whole "Mac's Mother doesn't know about Mac going to Foster's" thing, looking back at this episode can anyone imagine how akward the conversation would have been if Mac went ahead and called his Mother to pick him up?

I'd assume he'd claim to be somewhere else nearby and meet her there. Hopefully Mom doesn't have caller I. D.

This wasn't my least favorite episode, but it's not really high up on my list of good episodes. For the most part, the entire episode was really just one gag, and while that has worked before........I dunno, I really just couldn't get into it. It seemed like one big running gag that just ended with Mac getting burnt, and it just didn't satisfy me as being all that great an episode.
The part that did get me, however, was the end. I don't know why, but that turned out to be the funniest part to me just because it took me by surprise, though I've felt kinda guilty about it. While Euro Trish is far from being a favorite of mine, actually being told by her creator that she wasn't wanted was obviously heartbreaking, and while I thought it funny at the moment, I've actually eventually come to feel bad for her.

Legally, Mac can't win the contest; he's not over age 18. So he can't invite anyone. And I'm a little vague on my international customs agreements, but I'm sure no country would allow in a minor without a legal guardian. (Except the Dutch, because they're pervy.)
Mac's mom has to know. Even if you write off "Europe" (I did), there's also "Blooooo" which has Frankie dropping Mac off at his apartment and leaving her sweater behind. A mom always knows. Mac just isn't aware of it somehow.

Mac just isn't aware of it somehow. With all due respect, mothers are not all-knowing seers. Mine was a good example. If she'd had a clue as to any of the crap I was involved in at the time she'd have locked me out of the house, moved, and left no forwarding address, and I can't say I would've blamed her, or even cared.

This eppie was one of my favourites! I laughed really loudly when I first saw it (mom thought something´s wrong with me).I loved mr. Herriman´s expression when he said: "Timezones?" And when Wilt packed his things...*lol* Eduardo with his plushies...that was sooo hilarious! And of course, Bloo was the best part of this eppie. I´m starting to like him even more and more! But I hated one thing: * The ending was a BIG disappointment to me...we all know that Mrs. Foster likes to have fun and she feels young of her age, but that was just it! I mean, Mac really looked forward to this trip (the others, too, of course) and then she just goes and steals his tickets...I´m starting to hate her, really.
