One thing I find funny regarding this episode is how Bloo shows how easily he is influenced by his surroundings. As soon as Goo came along Bloo started acting hyper and danced around her in circles a few times, like he did in the first episode she starred in. On that note, this is probably why he acts so differently when in Foster's vs. being with Mac in the apartment. Foster's makes Bloo act up like crazy, probably because there are so many over-stimulating things hitting his senses and well Mac isn't there all the time, while with Mac he was more subdued and acting more of the figurative security blanket because of the atmosphere of Mac's home..fatherless and with a bullying brother. Interesting. I didn't get to see the whole episode, I caught the 2nd half of it, but I also enjoyed seeing the better Mac/Bloo interaction where they knock their heads together and try to figure something out. It just makes them look more like friends to me and I love the little stuff like that. (Call me weird if you want.) Great ep. ~Ami~ ps- I wanted to give Wilt a hug for just being Wilt, and Coco to comfort her with her comfort food issue. LOL I'm terribly fond of these characters. ;D

That makes a lot of sense, and there's no denying that there's a lot of stimuli at Foster's.

Great ep. ~Ami~ ps- I wanted to give Wilt a hug for just being Wilt, and Coco to comfort her with her comfort food issue. LOL I'm terribly fond of these characters. ;D That really DOES make sense, now that I think about it. I know that many kids act totally different, in different environments and situations, and often the ones I have the LEAST trouble with at school are the ones whose parents constantly tell everyone how bad they are! When I see these same kids in stores, they are indeed the holy terrors I was warned about! Besides, as you pointed out, Bloo's role is different at the apartment than it is at Foster's, and this goes a long way towards explaining why Bloo seemed "nicer" in the first couple of episodes, and has become more of a "jerk" now. He is having to compete for attention with a whole LOT of others, so this means he has to pull out all the stops, so to speak. Did anyone notice the very subtle use of sarcasm that Wilt has in his voice inflection when responding to Mr. Herriman? It's not the overt, in-you-face Bloo brand of sarcasm, but it's definately there. It was really obvious what Wilt meant by asking to "stand lower"(he even demonstrated, physically, what he meant)and by asking to have a chair, yet Mr. Herriman, in his rigid rule-enforcing way, totally failed to grasp Wilt's point both time. You can catch Wilt's patronizing tone, that oh-so-subtle way of saying, "What an IDIOT" in his reply! pitbulllady

They just make the best team, I'm a sucker for those kinds of things between them.

Yep. I like amusing banter a lot, but I also like it when they're.... well, best friends. I mean, friendships like the one Mac and Bloo have only come around once in a lifetime (on average, based on absolutely nothing) for us normal non-fictional people, which is partially why I love 'em so. They're like yin and yang, because they just.... complete each other, y'know? I think you do.

Bloo is what Mac can't be. Mac is quiet, shy, polite and well... smart. Bloo is loud, obnoxious, rude and not totally smart but he has his moments. They're two of the same person, Bloo does everything Mac could only DREAM of being at certain times. But that's why they get along so well, Mac is the only kind of anchor Bloo has to reality and Bloo sees himself as Mac's bestest best friend ever and ever and a day; hence how he got jealous in previous episode cuz Mac wasn't giving him the attention he believes he deserves for being the best Imaginary Friend ever. Plus it was Mac. Growing up the two were all they had in that small apartment, making fun of Terrence, avoiding his fists; so now their time together at Foster's IS slightly over the top since they aren't with each other 24/7 anymore. Gotta make up for lost time, don't ya know.
But that's my ramblings done.
