Well I knew who he was. Even before Fosters, and I'm not even IN America. That probably is a rather sad-but-true commentary on the state of knowledge in America, I almost ashamed to say. I can just about guarantee that I could find more people in other countries under the age of 30 who could tell me who Harry Truman was, for instance, than people of the same age group in THIS country who could answer that same question. There is an odd trend in this country to completely forget and disregard the past, especially if it happened before your lifetime. pitbulllady

This is getting slightly off topic now. Best put this convo to rest so folks can talk about the episode when they see it.

This was certainly better than expected, albeit fast-paced. Wow, Mandy's appearance really surprised me, and the appearance was well-executed. Coco speaking in Bloo's little theory was very funny, though it was freaky to watch. Duchess giving Eduardo a makeover -- ACK, never...again!! Poor Ed. I was delighted to see Goo and Cheese make appearances again, and I know it's not going to be the last time for Season Four. Bloo figured out the mystery behind the photos, way to go!
This is 'A' grade material.

I got to watch this again this afternoon, though STILL no end-credits. Why'd they do away with those, anyway?
Oh, well. I DID notice something I'd totally missed last evening, and that was Frankie growing up in the successive series of pictures over the years. She's like, a toddler in the first one, and we see her grow into a young woman, but with that same little-girl style of green dress on(I can sympathize; my grandparents never, ever thought of me as an adult, but I remained a helpless little child in their eyes). In the last one shown right before the "Mystery Picture", she appears to look just as she does now, so that pic must not have been taken very many years previously. Also, even though Wilt had complained about his face not being shown in any of the pictures, his face WAS shown in front of the banner in the pic taken the year after Wally's infamous prank, when everyone was looking so nervous. In any case, I'd wondered why Bloo said that he wanted to see more pictures so he could see Frankie become an old woman(LOL!), and now I know, even though I did NOT notice her growing up before. There were no other humans besides Frankie and Madame Foster, so I guess she has lived there for most of her life, which makes me wonder how old she was when her parents tried to convince her that there was no such thing as ghosts("Who Let The Dogs In"). She didn't look over the age of three in that first pic. Of course, Wilt was there the whole time, so he's been there for pretty much all of Frankie's lifetime, too, even though the pages flipped by too fast for me to actually count.

(I hope you know what I'm talking about). then bloo's lying on the pavement, sizzling.

It reminds me of Nickelodeon, except Nick always do the split-screen thing. Why didn't they just display the promos/previews right before showing the credits (they did this between last summer and right when CN replaced announcers)? It sucks to make it harder to witness a tiny piece of some of the crew's works (yeah, it may be less than a minute, but it's part of the show).

Okay, my commentary on this episode is coming a wee bit late (and rushed) but... -OMG! Coco speaking...hilarious! -Looks like Foster's got Billy and Mandy back for that parody. -Ed's make-over...eww. -They actually aired the credits sequence during the second airing on Fridays. Sweet. -Loved the ending. This episode was making me think a lot, but Foster's is always unpredicatble, isn't it?

Watching a second time was excellent. You catch a few extra things that you didn't before, like Madame Foster saying that "Some doors are better left closed" when asked about the picture, and why everyone was telling them that they didn't want "THAT" to happen again.
They totally gave up on alphabetical order when it came to actually taking the photo though, if you look at it. Too bad.
Anyone got a good closeup shot of any of the photos?
