As to the issue posed with the jellyfish, I sort of assumed that Wilt just did what I did when I was little on our beach holidays; I found out that jellyfish stung people, so I purposefully swam round catching them in bags and putting them in buckets of water. I figured that this way, firstly, people wouldn't worry about being stung, and secondly, the jellyfish wouldn't get hurt. Meh, it made sense at the time, and I certainly did cry hard enough when mum said that I couldn't bring the jellyfish home . . . Maybe Wilt actually did manage to bring his own haul back and that's what got Frankie so steamed. Maybe. In any case, a fun and funny epsiode all round. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite bit, but if I had to . . . The scene in the kitchen, simply because it reminds me very much of myself. I always enjoyed doing wierd stuff with food and as such, I have a rather eclectic palette myself (Although it was pepperoni and not salami, I have, indeed, tried "tube-meat" with jam. Not bad, I must say!) . . . It also seems that Americans are less daring with their food overall. I have yet to meet anyone at my college who has ever tried a deep-fried chocolate bar (Really, it's ungodly tasty. Bad for your arteries, good for your soul!) ~ The Prince *TBOSARL stands for "The Bastion Of Sanity Amongst Raving Lunatics." Because, yes, it's far too much work to type all of that out every time. My being lazy and all You know, that is EXACTLY what I think that Wilt did; it would be SO like him to do something like that, which would be intended to protect both swimmers AND the jellyfish. Of course, not everyone would appreciate Wilt's concern for so many species. How DO you deep-fry a chocolate bar? This sounds like something I really need to try. Given taht we deep-fry everything else here in the South, I'm surprised I haven't heard of this delicacy before now! pitbulllady

I'm diabetic, too, but I can eat a bit of sweets now and then if I haven't had anything else to eat for a pretty long time. They also make sugar-free chocolate with Splenda that's realy good, but also very expensive. Personally, I think Splenda ought to be put in ALL candy, especially those targeted mainly for kids, since 90% of the kids I teach react like Mac did in "Partying is Such Sweet Soiree" when they eat anything with sugar in it! pitbulllady

Sorry, but I gotta disagree with you on that one, PBL. Sugar-free stuff gives me headaches. Besides, if parents don't want their kids goin' freaky on 'um, they can buy them sugar-free instead of the regular.
There's a place in my area that sells great sugar-free chocolate with the same price as regular, if you're interested. Mom goes there 'cause she gave up sugar a few years back, and we all love her more for it(she'd get get angry easy and stuff...). South Bend Chocolate Factory is what it's called. I'm not sure you can get it where you live...

Even pizza (which sounds gross, but is really, REALLY good). When there's nothing good for supper and all else fails, we just resort to the tried and true solution of "frying stuff." A favourite on Fridays. And yes, I have had the oreos as well. Yummy were they ^_^ As for the chocolate bars, you really don't do it any differently than a corndog; Just stick a skewer in it, batter it up and fry away. I'd definitely batter it with something slightly sweet like crushed up graham crackers instead of flour. I'd also recommend putting the chocolate bars in the fridge or freezer beforehand so they don't melt too quickly. Then again, you don't want the thing to be rock-hard under the batter, so use good judgement. Mars bars are the best, but anything with caramel in it is really good. The idea is to get something that's crunchy on the outside and melty-gooey-sweet on the inside . . . Lord, I'm getting a craving just thinking about it Another fun thing to try that I came up with whilst attending school in the South; Froot Loop chicken. Crush up the Froot Loops cereal into tiny crumbs in a plastic bag and batter-fry chicken in that. Too bad they don't have Froot Loops in Scotland because it really is good. And before I get any more off-topic . . . ~ The Prince

I'm not sure you can get it where you live... MOST sugar-free products contain, or containED, Aspertame, which does give a lot of people bad headaches, so they can't use it. It doesn't bother me, but I've probably built up a sort of resistance over the years. Aspertame also contains an enzyme which can be very dangerous to some people with a certain genetic disorder, and children are most likely to be affected by it, so it really isn't recommended for children. In fact, some sugar-free products actually carry warning labels. Splenda is made from sugar, and tastes just like sugar, but without the bad effects on the body that sugar can have, especially for diabetics, but it isn't sold in a "generic" or "no-name-brand" form yet, since it's still relatively new to the market, so it's expensive. I can get sugar-free chocolate, but avoid it for that reason. I just wait until my blood sugar is getting low, and eat a piece of a dark chocolate Dove bar or something. I might still take you up on that offer, though, if I can figure out how to ship chocolate in triple-digit temperatures without it melting! pitbulllady

If Splenda is what they use in diet soda, I don't want any part in your plan.

Just checked the weather network and it really is going to be "Hot in Topeka" this weekend, with temperatures reaching a balmy 91 degrees Fahrenheit.... Yes I am that bored, why do you ask?

And what do you know, this weekend there will be "Showers in Spokane."
I guess this is the first time in human history a two week old cartoon has accurately predicted the weather in two different American cities? Don't that beat all?

Oh does that mean we will see the short lived "Where's Waldo" cartoon come out on DVD, In the cartoon Waldo traveled around the universe and took on his evil twin and arch nemesis "Odlaw" in almost every episode (Man I only wish I was making that up... The evil twin part, not the traveling part, because traveling is Waldo's MO.)
