I wonder if the Wilt man would get as much love from his fan base, if they went with one of those other designs for the character?

I wonder if the Wilt man would get as much love from his fan base, if they went with one of those other designs for the character? I dunno...good question though. Some of the early designs WERE a bit...freaky, perhaps a bit too Monsters, Inc., especially that one with all the eyes on top(reminds me of "Waxford" from that movie), while others were just so mutilated as to be disturbing, like the one where he's missing not only an eye and an arm, but a LEG and some teeth as well! I'm glad that Craig decided to keep Wilt's smile intact, at least, since that is, I think, one of the aspects of his design that people really warm up to so well. I really like the little sketch of a "pre-injury" Wilt, basically the same Wilt we all know and love today, but still with two arms and two eyes. It's interesting that none of the earlier designs have him with the artificial eye, though, but either with nothing at all on that side, or just a little stump of an eye stalk left, so I guess that sorta reinforces my theory that a plastic surgeon had to reacreate that eye socket on that side, to give some semblence of balance. Still, though, it's really Wilt's personality and spirit that make him so well-loved, since he is quite an inspirational figure. pitbulllady

Hopefully we'll get to see more concept art for the other characters in the upcoming days and months, I eat up that sort of stuff like candy.

Thanks very much for the link Craig! It's terrific I can't really say anything that the others haven't said better already - but Foster's is by far the most intelligent, witty, and sincere cartoon on the television right now. It's brought me and countless others so much happiness, and I really hope you and your team realise that. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creations with the world, and keep up the good work! -Patrick (Ireland)

. . . as much as in awe I am that Craig came here and posted a link I must voice my total heart-wrenching fact that this site won't load for me.
I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.

Aw what a nice thing, for the creator of the show to post here. Thanks Craig for your wonderful show and the most unique idea around. If there's one question I always wanted to ask it was how you came up with the name "Blooregard?" It's reminding me of some other real-life names but I just can't think of them! LOL
