Yeah here's a thread just for general admin announcements. So the news right now is: I've decided to go ahead and move my website tonight. I'm tired of waiting. So I've sent in the request to have Yahoo cancel my service, so as soon as that goes through my entire site will be DOWN, including the avatars and banners on this forum. As soon as I'm sure the service was cancelled, hopefully tonight, I can open my new account at the new server, and start reuploading stuff. But I don't expect to finish *that* tonight. Things will be broken for a while. I'm not even sure when I'll be able to access my regular email so I'd avoid using that for now. Thanks.

Update: okay so it's all set up, the thing is it can take up to 36 or 48 hours for my DNS modification to take effect - in other words, the Internet still thinks my site is at yahoo, only it isn't, so www.theneitherworld.com doesn't actually go anywhere right now. But when it takes effect it will work again. I've uploaded temporary index files to my more popular websites via my temporary access account, so when theneitherworld.com lives again, those at least will be there. In the meantime, it is my bedtime. I'll have to wait until tomorrow night, after Duchess' vet appintment, to get to work on transferring as much as I can.

I have an announcement.
I can no longer keep up with the posts, lol! It may or may not be necessary to "hire" more co-mods, but I do ask people to start reporting posts and threads to me that you find questionable, as I am probably no longer going to be able to read *every* post, like I've been able to in the past. Just PM me and tell me where they are and I'll look at them. If this isn't adequate I'll ask for volunteers for co-mod. Thanks.

Well I tried adding the airings of the Foster's episodes in the US in the site calendar, and now they all show in the forum's info center at the bottom of the page, making it look kinda cluttered...oh well. If you want airing times for episodes for the next couple of weeks, try clicking on the little calendar icon in the tray at the top of the forum. The times are PST but I think they are the same times across the US anyways. The calendar may be added to by any registered member by the way, so if anyone wants to plug in airing times for eps in other countries or whatnot, feel free. Or...anything else, but I prefer it to be Foster's related.

To help with the clutter of the Events section I will just list all of the scheduled Foster's episodes in a single "event" on the final day of each month (I have to put it on the final day so it won't disappear until the last day of the month). Just click on it to see the list. As my computer only updates TV schedules every other week, I will probably only add about 2 weeks worth at a time.

Before I forget: I am going camping this weekend and will be gone from Friday until Sunday sometime (I'll probably be here Sunday night). If I find out anyone here was Naughty I shall feed them to Duchess. (Either the Imaginary Friend or my snake, I'll pick one later.) So be good.

I just modified every subboard of this forum to only allow registered members to create threads. Guests can still post in threads. I'll add this to the FAQ or whatever later. Hopefully this will help with the spambot problem, but I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes.

...Time for an announcement! If you are on right now, don't be alarmed if things start moving around suddenly - I'm going to be shuffling the boards and topics and creating new ones. Once that's done the staff will be moving the threads around into different categories if applicable, and to save space we're not going to use the "The thread has moved to..." thingie (*looks at Staff* Try to remember to put "Display Message: No"). So if a thread seems to have vanished please just poke around a bit and try to find it. I don't think its necessary to shut the board down for maintenence or anything while I do this. And to everyone else, logging on at a later time...look, I shuffled the boards and created some new ones. The reason for this is simply for organisation - sometimes people create topics that don't really fit in any specific category - when this happens often enough its time for a new category. In this case, it was time for a few. I am also going to be rewriting the board descriptions to try and make sure everyone is clear on where certain discussions go. If you have any questions please ask them in the Kiosk. Thanks.
