On this date, August 13, 2004, the first three episodes of a show called Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends premiered on Cartoon Network, and the face of television was changed forever. Well, it was for us, at least. I thought it might be fun to talk about our favorite moments from the past two years, so, what's your favorite Foster's moment? There's certainly a huge number to choose from, and they cover every part of the emotional spectrum; happy moments, sad moments, funny, angry, worrisome moments, and moments that really touch the heart, they're all here, all in one wonderful series. If I had to pick one that always stands out in my mind, well, guess again, it's not a Frankie moment. When I think of Foster's I most often think back to the battle with the extremasaurus in "House Of Bloo's". Wilt, Coco, Eduardo, all going to bat for two friends that they barely know, risking their lives, because of that one little word - friends. That's what this show's all about in the end, isn't it? It's about friendship. And it's about family, not necessarily family by blood or DNA, but people that we call family because they are important to us, and mean something to us. I think it's called "Love". And my personal feelings for Frankie aside, I love this show, that house, and all it's residents, and I do often think of them as family. Above all, the show makes me smile, and it makes me feel, and that's the mark of a truly great series. So thank you to Craig, Lauren, and all the rest, for two wonderful years. May there be many more! A litte over the top, perhaps, but it's from the heart. Now it's your turn.

Well, I would have to say, that the most memorable moment of Foster's for me would have to be Goo crying. That scene always got to me, right here *points to toe* oh wait no not there, here *points to chest* I know people hate Goo, in the show AND in real life but ever scince she first premeired in an episode, I liked her charcter personally. Thank you evry one that works in foster's for making a show that has all the elements that a show needs. Thank you for making a show with humor, cuteness, drama, action, good character designs, and well flowing movements (or for that I guess I should thank Flash animation for that one). Thank you, for inspiring me, to draw more, and watch more TV. Thank you... okay it's the next person's turn.

-wipes tear from eye-
That... was beautiful...
Two years, eh? I honestly feel it's been so much longer, like I've spent my entire life with these one-of-a-kind characters. I feel as if these characters are a *part* of me. When I first saw the pilot, I was stuck on the show. I've nearly seen every single episode on the premiere date, and if not then, I've seen it on the next showtime. I've laughed with the characters, cried with them, eaten with them, and spent most of my freetime with them. I've freaked people out with my m4d 0b5322i0n, trivia knowledge, and other exact quotes from the shows. White gangstas and bullies ain't got nuttin' on me. =P
It's my life, and it's *my* show.

For me there have been many many memorable moments that have occurred during the shows two year history and to list and explain them all would take an entire evening, so for now I'll go with the one moment that is freshest in my mind and that moment is.....
The final act of "Frankie My Dear" everything from the introduction of Orlando Bloo all the way to Frankie giving that rapscallion Dylan what-for, was pure 24 carrot GOLD!
Even though it has been a great ride so far, I still feel that the best is yet to come.

I just want to say thank Craig McCracken for you're wonderful cartoon that you have given us. Yes, we know that if it wasin't for Sparky and the Pitbulllady, we would not have Never Forgotten, but, we would have never had Never Forgotten if it wasin't for Foster's. Because of Foster's, we can feel better about ourselfs having imaginary friends. We would not have had a role-model for our young male society if it wasin't for Wilt. But most of all, we would not have had Imaginary Friends, or a boost in self asteem, or an extra joy in life, or another wonderful show to watch if it wasin't for Craig and Lauren. That is all. *blows nose in hanky*.

two years? wow. two YEARS. what can I say, I love the show, why else would I be here in this forum? Go Goo Go, I love, especially with the achimbanee rucksack part, and of course the end crying part... Foster's has been a favorite since I first saw it, way back when. Keep up the classic lines and loveable characters, we all owe something to this show.

Two years of the best character based comedy in animation since Home Movies was cancelled. Not a single episode i'd class as bad and even more to come. It has been great, lets hope for another 2 years or more.

It really does not feel like two years, does it? I've said this before, and I'll do it again -- before watching this great show and after watching the ads, I thought, "what the hell kind of show is this?" I didn't really have interest to watch this show, until I realized Craig McCracken was behind it. I though, "sure, let's do it." I got off of work that day, and I was tired -- I needed to take a brief nap, then I turned on Cartoon Network's "Fridays". This was the day that brought the debut of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." The characters were interesting, the designs were unique, I thought, "hey, not bad -- I'm going to watch next week's episode." After that, I really got into this outstanding series. What I love about this show is that this is animated in the US, not one of those shows that are entirely animated overseas. For that, we thank Cartoon Network and the team for doing so. It's been quite a while since I've watched a US-produced cartoon with such loveable, fun characters, and I absolutely think that the continuity is another aspect I approve. You don't get that on a lot of animated programs. The cast of the series is another essential thing for the series. You couldn't have asked for a better group of voice-overs to perform such wonderful characters. I became so into this show that I wanted merchandise of the series, get the Burger King toys, and of course -- I wanted to meet the crew behind Foster's (something I dreamed of for over year that became a reality). From this fan of the show, I want to wish FHFIF a happy 2nd anniversary, and we hope to see much more in the near future. Thank you, crew.

Two years!? Well, as everyone else has said there have been a ton of great memories, so I won't be going through all of them.^^; But I guess my best memory is first setting eyes on Bloo, as he was the one that made me keep watching the show in the first place. And we can't forget Cheese! If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have a variety of annoying but hilarious phrases to dish out to people (who will then think I'm mad, of course, unless they knew what I was taking about). And thanks to Craig, Lauren and everyone else involved for making me feel like a kid again, and reliving a time when cartoons were truly great and didn't rely on gross, over-the-top humor or one-sided characters. For the first time in a long time, I have found characters that I truly love and care about and make me feel happy.

Two years. Wow. It certainly doesn't feel like it. Anyway. What is there to say that hasn't already been said? This show is wonderful, and I hope it goes on for another 2 years. Or 10 years. Yeah, how 'bout that? Craig, Lauren, and crew, thank you for giving us such a wonderful, original, witty cartoon that is a shining light among the gross-out, unoriginal cartoons of today

The sad thing is that August 13 was also the date WB quite airing Foster's...and made my life painful.
But I'm glad I was able to watch Foster's while I still had the chance. Foster's gave me so much joy, and it still does. Best cartoon ever!

Two years... Wow. As Bloo2DaMacs said, one of the biggest moments of the show for me was Goo crying. Specifically when Mac was comforting her. He pretty much summarized the entire point of the show when he said that IFs were real friends, and that Bloo, Wilt, Coco, and Eduardo were his best friends. That's what the show's all about. The climax, for me at least, in the series so far, was during Squeeze the Day, when Bloo is cradling the unconscious Mac (although, the entire thing seemed a little cheesy to me...). He mentions the pilot, "House of Bloos", and how Mac was determined to find a way to keep Bloo at Foster's. And as they are looking for the greatest thing to do, he says that is the greatest thing. Too bad it was sort of forgotten about after commercial, but you get my drift... Comments, anyone??? -Marty
