Inspired by the fact that I'm watching my personal favorite 1980s teen comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High on my DVD player right now, I decided to create a poll of Personal Favorite Teen Comedy movies from the 1980s, and I managed to post a few titles from my "personal collection" on this poll. And I'm sure you'll agree that these movies are superior to alot of the stuff that's out now like that Napoleon whatever it's called (which I absolutely hated). Feel free to poll away, speak out about your favorite moments about the pictures listed, and just have fun with it. For the record, My favorite scene in Ridgemont High is where Brad gets into an argument with the customer at All American Burger, gets fired, and his parting words: (pounds on men's room door) "I HOPE YOU HAD A HELL OF A P**S, ARNOLD!!"

Bill and Ted got my vote, seeing as its *still* pretty much my favorite movie of all time.

Oh, and probably my favorite moment in B&T is eh.... oh, I like the "dust in the wind" thing. And while the sequel didn't live up to its predecessor, the "dude, this is a totally deep hole" thing when they're falling for at least a minute straight is awesome.

What?!.. no love for Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller? ... Anyone?
Well that's what I picked.
And for the record I thought "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" was pretty good myself, well at least for the scenes involving the Grim Reaper (A hit, you have sank my battleship!) And that other scene when B and T were reciting Poison lyrics to God.

Oh, and probably my favorite moment in B&T is eh.... oh, I like the "dust in the wind" thing. Mine is "Trouble is afoot at the Circle K." I have no idea why that amuses me as much as it does.

Mine is "Trouble is afoot at the Circle K." I have no idea why that amuses me as much as it does. And let's not forget "Why would we lie to ourselves?", mostly because of the conspiratorial tone he uses that makes it sound way more profound than it actually is. The best part of Bogus Journey was when Ted possessed his dad and did the air guitar thing (which I wish was possible in real life) and it was like.... banjo music.

Ironically, Keanu Reeves' career skyrocketed after Bill & Ted, while you have to ask "whatever happened to the other guy?

Ironically, Keanu Reeves' career skyrocketed after Bill & Ted, while you have to ask "whatever happened to the other guy? Alex Winter you mean... well according to Wikipedia and the IMDB, he's pretty much doing "behind the scenes" stuff now (I.E Writing and directing.)

I couldn't really buy into this whole premise of Ferris Bueller being a legend in the Chicagoland area....but I guess that kind of adds to the humour of the film.
