In "Land of the Flea", Wilt tells Eduardo that he's not furry, BUT in "Foster's Goes to Europe" one of the "non-essential" things that Wilt has, and removes from, his suitcase was a bottle of shampoo. Now, presumably, having shampoo in the first place would mean that Wilt DOES have hair SOMEWHERE, even if it does not constitute what either he nor most people would classify as "fur". After all, I don't consider a Pit Bull or a Doberman or a Catahoula to be "furry" dogs, though technically they are, but then by that same technicality, so are we. I guess most people, Wilt included, tend to think of "fur" as being long, thick hair, like on a Husky or in this case, a certain purple Imaginary Friend. What do y'all think?

I think he's not furry, per say, but he has "peach fuzz" type fur covering his body.

He HAS to have some sort of hair, to need shampoo, though it would most likely be very short. Thing is, he also had a regular bar of soap, which presumably he'd use to wash wherever he didn't have any hair...I guess it's just one of those boring Saturdays, LOL! pitbulllady

Maybe he was packing the shampoo for someone else? Like Eduardo? Not unlike Wilt to think of someone else before his own needs.
But I personally see Wilt as just with red skin like a human's rather then having fair fur along his body. That's just me.

I don't see Wilt as having hair, either, especially with his.... amphibious-looking, for lack of a better word, eyes, hands and feet. It just doesn't seem to be compatible with how he looks, but then again he is imaginary, so.... eh.

But I personally see Wilt as just with red skin like a human's rather then having fair fur along his body. That's just me. Yeah, Wilt WOULD pack stuff for someone else, BUT it would NOT be like him to just discard said stuff willy-nilly without asking the individual to whom it belonged, or to at least apologize profusely for having done so. I can't see him throwing out any of those things if they actually belonged to someone else, without finding out if it was OK first. Wilt will do without such essentials himself, but he wouldn't impose such Draconian measures on anyone else. I guess he does have some sort of hair somewhere, that would need shampooing, though like us, it probably doesn't cover all of him. I DON'T see him having slimy, porous skin like an amphibian, though, to answer Kageri. For that, he'd have to stay wet all the time, and could not perspire(and he sweats like a horse in "Hiccy Burp). Yes, he has those flattened fingertips, more like a gecko than a frog, and he does have eyes up on stalks(which is more like a crustacean than any vertebrate), but other than that, he's pretty much mammalian. Wilt's feet remind me a lot of a monkey's or an ape's, with his big toe situated down on his foot and sorta sticking out like it does, and some primates DO have those flattened, rounded gripping ends to their fingers and toes. Try taking something away from a two-pound Bushbaby and you'll see how effective those gripper tips are-Been There, Done That. I can see how those would be really handy(no pun intended)in a game of basketball, ditto for those eyes up on stalks, to give him an even better visual edge over his opponents. pitbulllady

I don't think he has slimy skin, just that he doesn't have hair. Or at least he doesn't seem like he would, to me.

This reminds me of when Sandy,on Spongbob,said"Spongebob dosin't have hair,or does he?".HAHAHA!
Mabe it's those fluffs of hair on the side of his face.Atleast i've always asumed it would be fluffs of hair, but then again I don't know why HAIR would have STITCHIS.Like I said on another board,It would be weird if those were actually his face. Not that I'd care. So mabe he has some hair in between his eyestalks, ontop of his head.

If that were the case, though, Wilt would NOT have unpacked it. He might be willing to compromise his own comfort, safety and personal hygiene, but not someone else's. If he'd packed that shampoo for others to use, he would have at least asked someone else if they needed it or not before removing it. You know how Wilt is-he'd be willing to haul 250 pounds of assorted stuffed toys, paddleball games, and anything that else that anyone else cared to load him down with, yet been equally willing to carry absolutely nothing of his own, lest it "bump" someone else's things from the trip. pitbulllady

Definitely. He even felt the need to give up his ticket due to a lack of space! Awww...
