Pitbulllady, you said something a lot like this on a Foster's board on imdb.com...

And I would love, at least once, to see Wilt in a REAL basketball game, where he actually has to compete against others who's talents at least somewhat come close to his. We've never seen that-just him shooting baskets alone, with no opponents. It would be interesting to see just how competitive he can actually be, and I have a feeling that this situation might bring out a side to the Tall Red One we've never seen before, lending credence to the old saying, "Still waters run deep". pitbulllady Er, actually, I don't think he'd be very competitive at all. Think about "Partying is such...". He treated the dance-off with Dancy Pants as just a fun thing when everybody else thought it was serious, and he still kicked butt. If he was challenged to a basketball game, I'd think he'd act the same way.

Think about "Partying is such...". He treated the dance-off with Dancy Pants as just a fun thing when everybody else thought it was serious, and he still kicked butt. If he was challenged to a basketball game, I'd think he'd act the same way. BUT, Wilt wasn't created specifically to dance, was he? That's just something he happens to enjoy. Obviously, he WAS created to play basketball-and to be very, very good at it. I can use the analogy of one of my Catahoula Leopard Dogs: he enjoys playing fetch with a ball, but he's not "dead serious" about it. He knows it's a game, a fun diversion. The Catahoula breed was not created to play fetch. HOWEVER, when he enters that wild-boar field trial ring, where his objective is to "bay up", or corner an animal that weighs several hundred pounds and wants to kill anything that moves, by default, he goes into a very different mode, then. He knows he has only two minutes before the buzzer to accomplish this. His whole attitude is completely different from the one when he's fetching a tennis ball for me to throw again. Catahoulas WERE bred to hunt and bay up wild boars. It is their primary reason for existing in the first place, just as one of Wilt's primary reasons for ever having been brought into existance was most likely to play basketball. pitbulllady

It might be worth looking at his behavior in "House Of Bloo's", specifically during the battle with the extremeasaurus. He certainly used his basketball skills then, and it was the most deadly serious moment of the entire series. Under the circumstances, I doubt anyone in the NBA could've done better.

I feel that Wilt's arm is actually made of rubber, because of not only it can bend, but can curve as well. In some eps you can actually see Wilt's armcurved instead of bent. And here's something that's a bit strange about him...if his body looks so small, it has smaller ribs for the chest, and then there's really small heart and lungs...and if he's so tall, how can his lungs get the oxygen he needs when he were to be...hmm, let's say...panting. And I wonder HOW his tiny heart can pump blood throughout the ENTIRE body? How can it do that? (if he has blood, that is)

His body looks small in proportion to his height, but when you see him sitting down beside Frankie, it's actually as large as hers, so he'd have the same heart and lung capacity as a human would. He has a larger head, though, proportionately, than a human would, and MUCH longer limbs(the ones he's got left, anyway). I'd figure that Wilt, like some humans, is "double-jointed", and able to bend his limbs in ways that most humans cannot. SOME can, though, and they DO appear to be made of "rubber". I've had some students over the years who could bend their arms in ways that just made you cringe, and they thought it was funny! If you're wondering about his arm stump being able to bend, that can be explained by a normal surgical procedure done on amputees. If there is a stump to be left(assuming it's not a full amputation, involving even the shoulder joint and scapula), surgeons will wrap a layer of muscle around the end of the bone, to provide padding over the end of the stump and to give some degree of use, since with time and practice, most amputees can learn to control that muscle and use it almost like a hand. I've seen quite a few people who have done this, and are able to bend and move the muscle at the end of their arm stumps like a forearm of sorts. It's done mainly to make it easier to adjust to a prosthetic arm, but both people I know found that to be too painful and have done better adapting to just using the arm stump that they have left. I'd guess it would be the same with Wilt.
And yes, Wilt would have blood, otherwise he'd have no reason to have to use the restroom, like in "Fosters Goes to Europe". The reason we have to do that is because our kidneys filter toxins FROM OUR BLOOD, and we have to get rid of those toxins somehow. Wilt also perspires when he's hot or under stress, and the reason WE can perspire is due to our bodies' automatic response to stress, increasing blood flow to the skin, triggering the sweat glands to turn up production, so that evaporation of sweat can take place, lowering the skin's temperature, and in turn cooling the blood circulating near the surface. That cooled blood flows through the rest of the body-Voi LA! Built-in air conditioning! Bloo also has blood, since he passed out from loss of the same when all those ticks got him in "Land of the Flea", and he got leeches on him in "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down", and leeches aren't interested in things they can't feed off of. If they didn't have blood, IF's would not have any reason to eat, either, since there would be no way for the nutrients in the food to get to the rest of their bodies. They would not get weak from lack of food(low BLOOD sugar), as they did in "Dinner is Swerved".

And I ment actually curving, as in, turning to a round way. Thanks for the info though!

That picture is awesome Fomalhaut! Thank my friend She sent it to me hoping I could put it on my so-long wanted T-shirt, but I tried to enlarge it and it's still too pixeled.
