I remember when I was about 10, my mom made me get rid of my IF Spooky, you know, from Casper the ghost? Spooky was a little trouble maker, worse than Bloo actually! LOL!, it's hilarious now that I think when it happenend! I remember her allways telling me to get rid of Spooky, that he was evil and wasin't real. But I kept pleading with her for her to let me keep him. And I kept going on and on and on too about that he WAS real untill finally she'd say "Ok", just to shut me up. Then one day, she got mad at me and Spooky and told me, told me to rebuke, REBUKE him now, out of the house in the name of Jesus, lol! I remember crying, and I did as she said. I never saw him for months untill one day I was playing in the yard, and he came back. We talked for a little bit and he left again. But the strange thing is, is that whenever I would talk to him , something bad would happen. Not concerning me, but the day would go extra bad if I talked to him, like he was bad luck or something.......
It's something to rebuke a little kid's IF's out of the house! She didin't mind if Casper stayed, she didin't mind him-for me. And then one time, this was before I got rid of Spooky, she got on one of her email groups and told them about me concerning him being my IF-but she was only worried about my behavior when he was around. I know she didin't do it to be mean or nothing. Not that I really care either. But I DID do some odd things when with him. I'd only wear black, I guess I became gothic when he was around-not that that's weird. I forget what all I did, but I do remember some of the things I said and did were just plain evil.

That's such an odd story! It's strange what sort of things your imagination can create!! I remember my IF, Pollyanna. We used to play together w/ my best friend and her IF, Robert. But eventually Pollyanna and Robert disappeared, and we later learned they had run away to Las Vegas and eloped! Who knew?!?!

My imaginary friends were created differently. I have three IFs and one skelanimal plushie(the cat) There make me so happy. Fluffy was created about six months ago out of anger. My anger and imagination combined. I love cats, so he came out like a giant cat with demon looking eyes, he's really big and capable of causing mass destruction. And then there's Chester. He came out of pure boredome. I was bored one day and I tried using my imagination to draw a picture. He came out looking like FireLeo(Viewtiful Joe) and Ralph(Rampage:Total Destruction) mixed together. He too looks like a cat, a saber tooth tiger cat. He's muscle bound and wears red shorts. And then my last friend is Blade. He was created out of anger as well. He's a dark grey dragon with tears in his wings and wears armor made of bones from other dragons, on his head is a long pointed skull that he wears, on his arms and legs are bones that are like spike bracelets. He also has razor blades on his back, tail and arms, capable of slicing rocks in half. He looks sort of like Godzilla except with wings and armor. Fluffy was my first friend, then came Blade, then came Chester, and then came my skelanimal cat plushie, her name is Behemoth. I feed her fried organs, kidneys are her favorite, her beveragees are blood and demon liquid energy. Being a zombie, she has to eat organs. Same with Blade, Fluffy, and Chester, they stick to one diet, Meat, organs, demon energy and blood. If you want a skelanimal go to Hot Topic. They come in dogs, cats, bunnies and mice(or is it a bear?) I think my parents are going to take me to a phyciatrist just because I have imaginary friends and a plushie that I claim is real. I hear that happens a lot to people who go on and on about their imaginary friends being real. I try to hide my IFs but I can't hide my skelanimal.

When I had imaginary friends everything was cool. Nothing bad happenedwhen I was with them and I was appropriate age for them too. the weird thing is that htey weren't always with me like most imaginary friends, they just were there some times and weren't there some times. I was never like: "Don't sit there! Alley is sitting there!", or "Be careful! Your going to run into Billy!" I always wonder about them. I don't remember my childhood very clearly, but as far as I can remember, I only played with them when my mom was around and my dad was at work, night time. When ever I try to remember having an adventure with them all I can see is me doing something with... well... nothing. I wonder if when you get too old to have an imaginary friend, then you can't remember seing them, and you know that they were only your imagination, it's almost lke they were spirits. I had two IFs, they were named Alley and Billy. As far as I can remember, they were both older than me. I think thta Alley was about 11 or 12, and Billy was like, 15 or something. I know its weird how Alley's name is speeled but that's the way it was spelled. They were both humans. I think I might draw them later, this thread has inspired me. I can faintly remember being on the staircase and Alley was falling down the "mountain" and me and Billy were trying to pull her up. My mom walked by and I said "Mommy, help us save Alley"

I'm speaking about ALL parents, dosen't it just get on you're nerves when parents want to take you to a PSYCHIATRIST for crying outloud! OH, THAT MAKES ME ANGGRY!!
*Ok, enough of that*
Don't ever listen to ANYONE who tells you you're to old to have imaginary friends. Because imaginary friends can make you happy, and they're always there to comfort you. Don't ever let go of you're IF's, I did once and they almost never forgave me, but they did eventually.
It's alright demonickitten, I believe their real too. By the way, my poem I wrote on another thread I started, I read it to my mom. She was amazed on how good it was and that it almost brought teas to her eyes, THEN she added, It would sound good also about someone losing a real friend..............I got very offended and didin't accept her compliment either! I wouldin't talk to her or nothing. She just doesn't understand, like most of our parents. IF's ARE real friends wheather ya believe they'e real or not.

My imaginary friend looked a little like a ghost from Pacman, but white with empty eyes. He was known simply as the Ghost Friend and could float around as he pleased. I remember telling people about him at school but they just laughed at me, thinking I was crazy lol. I even remember drawing him on the blackboard during a discussion about whether you had seen any ghosts or not. I claimed he was a real ghost but I know nobody believed me.

I have to admit it, when I was in third grade, despite the fact I had a few real friends, I also had five Imaginary Friends, but I was one of the kids who, "didn't have much imagination, so I copied whatever I saw on TV". My five IF's were Chip, Dale, Gadget, Monty, and Zipper from Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers because at the time, I was a Rescue Ranger fan. However, I mostly kept them to myself, and I also imagined their adversary Fat Cat and his gang. I do remember one time when I was on the subway in Montreal, I imagined that while I was on the train, Fat Cat tangled with them causing them to miss the stop where I got off, but after the train left the station, they won, and jumped onto another train going the other way and got back to the station before I left. I eventually "got rid" of them in grade four as I moved onto other shows. Though now, if I see it on, I'd watch, but still. My IF's are gone. I wonder if they all made it to Foster's and were adopted before Mac brought Bloo there for the first time...

When I had forgotten about Casper for over 2 years, all I did was call his name and he floated down through the ceiling, through the attic door to happily greet me. I remember one time when I was little, Casper told me that whenever I'd call his name he'd be there. Mabe you could call you're IF's names and see if they come back. Now on the disussion of my IF's Wilt and Bloo. Today I went to the docter to get a shot and while me and mom was in te waiting room, Bloo and Wilt were restling eachother in the floor. My Wilt's not close to being as tall as the one on tv, he's 5 ft. 5, closer to my height. Actually, closer to my mom's height. But yeah, it was HILARIOUS!! Bloo and Wilt restling on the floor in the waiting room. I was hystericaly laughing inside myself, trying to keep it in. Before that, they were playing in the wheelchairs and playing tag. In the car they were playing a game, Bloo's idea, where somebody would shout out the coler of a car( example:blue) and then when the blue car would go by, whoever yelled"Punchbuggy blue" would get punched. It's an everyday thing, they punch eachother, they fight and argue, they're brothers. Speaking of brothers, Wilt was trying to act all "brothah" today. I mean, MY Wilt was always a little more "brothah" than the one on tv, but today it was just getting silly. They were in the backseat and out of random, Bloo says"Raindrops are fallin' on my head" and Wilt said"Wiggety what?". I cradled my head in my head, holding in laughter thinking"If he starts talking like Erwin,then....*giggles and shakes head* ". (Erwin is from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy). But my Wilt and Bloo sure is fun.
