I'd like to go to college one day. I would love to be a cartoonist! Or, I doubt you'd HAVE to go to college to be a cartoonist right? But if not, college wouldin't hurt. Consider going to one of the colleges/universities that focus on animation/art. California Institute of the Arts (or CalArts) is just one example. Here is a link of more art schools in the US. I hope this helps you. Another thing -- stay away from the drugs. Be yourself.

Oh yes defenatly! I know to stay away from drugs, considering I've learned from my brother's mistakes and other family members'. By the way, I've got two role-models. Wilt and Mandy, from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Like Wilt, I would be cheerful as always and try to avoid conflict, but like Mandy, if conflict comes my way, I wouldin't cower away. Such as, if a bully tells me he's gonna fight me, I'd just say I don't do fights and walk away. But if he'd keep bugging me, then I'd use some wit and over-their-heads sarcasm instead. I think I could pull it off, I've yelled at my 32 yr old brother for yelling at everybody, so if I could handle a 32 yr old raging psycho, I could pull a few Mandy tricks on 14-15 year old kid, uh...I think .

Hmmh... In my expirience ignoring people works well, however I have read accounts in which gettign into fights does indeed happed- if that's the case don't hesitate to talk to a teacher. The ones at my school when I was in 7/8 grade were very nice.

the best teachers I ever had were my teachers from kindergarden and first grade, although the teachers did get a bit nicer (although not nicer than my first and second grade teachers) when I moved to a better school. But don't be worried Tonya, teachers are usually VERY nice... I should know... no I'm not a teacher! Waht gave you that idea?!! My mom was a teacher, and she is one of the nicest womans of all time, as far as I know. I do suggest going to an art college if that's what you wanna do. Oh I wish my job had something to do wiith cartoons, but my job is faaaar more boring than any job that has to do with animation or art. Tonya, and any one else who's reading this that is going to school for the first time, don't worry. Just make sure to be kind and not be too shy. I was popular, I mean REEEALLY popular, at my first school, but when I moved to a new school I was in the unpopular bunch, and only because I was... antisocial.... so make sure to be as kind, and collected as you can. Also, don't let bullies let you down, they're just sore cuz they have some sort of problems in their life. I reccomend comforting them, although some times that gets you clobbered. Any way... calm and collected... calm and collected...

Huh? I never said I didin't like teachers! I LOVE the two teachers that I have! (Susan, the teacher that came over every year to evaluate my homework, and the teacher I saw yesterday to test me on how good I am, so she can see what grades I fit in and such). I know to go to the teachers if I have any problams. I was just saying on what I would do IF I thought the situation wasin't bad enough to tell the teacher yet.
