Awwwww I hope Sydney will like Wilt after seeing him on TV I'd proberly have been scared too if isaw a giant wilt doll on the sofa.

God created humans, and humans created imaginary friends. So, maybe their creators ARE their "single-parents", I mean, the creator plays with them, spends time with them, makes sure their fed, loves them, etc. It's like parenting! So yeah, it works.
