Whew! Oh man, why are you making me CHOOSE?!!! XD Seriously, I like Mac, Frankie and Madame Foster all the same, so I'm having a tough time picking who I like more. I'll get back to it later.

Dang, that's a hard one...
Well, I'll say it's a tie between Mac and Madame Foster. For Mac, I like how the kid is really mature and smart for his age, unlike other eight year olds I deal with (during the weekends, I private tutor a few kids). His friendship with Bloo is really cute too. Mac reminds me of myself when I was around his age too.
As for Madame Foster, I just love how quirky she is. She's an absolutely adorable old woman and reminds me greatly of my grandmother! It’s also amazing how she was able to create a shelter for abandoned imaginary friends.
In the end, I voted for Mac. In general, I tend to like the younger characters in TV shows and whatnot.
EDIT: I meant imaginary "friends," not "pets." My bad. *headdesk*

I chose Mac because he's my favorite character. He's such an awesome little kid with his brains and his manners and his imaginary friend.

I voted for Mac, as he's easliy my favorite character though I'm really partial to all the characters, human or otherwise. If I had a top five list, it would be this:
1. Mac 2. Goo 3. Frankie 4. Terrence 5. Madam Foster
And now I do have a top five list, as shown above, leaving my earlier comment about "if I had a top five list" null and void.
I am full of contradictions.

Mac, I can relate to him. And he's a nice kid, and his determination to keep his IF no matter what The Man says is admirable. Besides, when he's on sugar, he's so danged funny!!!!

Besides, when he's on sugar, he's so danged funny!!!! You can say that again!!! XD I was going to say Mac, just because I generally like his personality and he IS really sweet. After that I think either Madame Foster or Frankie. Madame Foster is also sweet in a crazy way and of course if she didn't set up the home for imaginary friends we wouldn't have got to know half the characters in the show anyway. And Frankie... I don't really know, she just seems to click with me and her rages every so often make me laugh. XD But now I keep changing my mind, so I don't really know anymore lol. >.<

When I was pitching ideas to Cartoon Network, I gave Mac the unofficial last name of "Forrester" with the disclaimer that he is NOT related to the Foster's family...unless Craig and his staff comes up with circumstances that suggest otherwise, such as Mac's father was one of Madame Foster's children and he was never told.
With that in mind, I thought the name "Blooregard Q. Kazoo" was just something that randomly entered his head at the time Mac created him. Even at the age of three, he is a smart kid: straight As in school, kind of a social outcast....

Honestly, when it comes to Bloo's name. I just imagined that Mac simply called him "Bloo" (possibly after his pet name for a blanket he may have had at one point...I can dream!) and then Bloo added on all the trimmings himself. It just seems like something he would do. Just as another attempt to make himself seem more important than he actually is.

My favorite aspect of Frankie is that she's kind of like the Big Sister that Mac never had, and I think that there should be more episodes where the two would spend some time away from the craziness of the Foster's House, in the comparative quietness of a coffee house.
"Really, Mac. You don't have to treat me EVERY TIME we go out."
"C'mon, Frankie. $5.00 for a latte is small change to one who has the common sense to save his allowance....unlike my idiot brother Terrence."
"Touche'"
