MAN, was this one WEIRD episode or what?
I still can't make up my mind about it. I can't honestly say it was funny; in fact, it was downright annoying at times, especially Goo herself, but I found it impossible to dislike her. I actually have a fourth grade student, a girl, who's severely ADD/ADHD, and who also has an VERY overactive imagination, and I was immediately struck by the resemblence between her and Goo. I immediately suspected that the reason this girl made so many Imaginary Friends was due to her lack of what she(and her parents)considered "real" friends, i.e. human ones.
Best part-probably the whole "Mac has a girlfriend" thing, with everyone thinking that Mac was "sweet" on Goo, when that wasn't the case! While I might not have gotten many laughs from the episode, I have to admit that I did get a bit misty-eyed when Mac opened up that gift box after yelling at Goo and telling her that no one liked her, and found his precious backpack, with the straps stitched up and repaired with care, and when he explained to Goo that she didn't need to make hundreds of IF's, only spend time with the ones she had, because they ARE real friends.
Worst part-Bloo running through the house channeling Daffy Duck while Goo created more and more IF's, and drove Mac crazy. I swear, Bloo is really becoming a far more annoying character than Goo herself!
I also wish that Wilt had had more "screen time", though I enjoyed that whole scene with him almost finishing rebuilding the antique chandelier, only to have Goo's robot IF knock it down! Little scary to see Wilt start to get that "Syndrome twitch"(those of you who have seen "The Incredibles" will know of which I write)down his right side, though! I was also surprised to see that Eduardo was not afraid of Goo at all, but poor Coco sure didn't appreciate all those tiny little business commuters all over her, did she?

Well, Goo really grew on me at the end by actually taking some sort of responsability via finding new humans for the imanginary friends she created. I also think she may havbe a commentary against "new age" parents like Goo's. Normal parents do not let babies (who can't make coherent speech) name themselves.

I loved this episode, but I wasn't sure if I would like it, after watching the first act. Bloo was just Bloo, though not all that likeable; but he actually didn't do all that much for tonight's episode -- it was mostly Mac and Goo. This was up there with Mac Daddy, as far as wackiness goes. This felt and looked like a Lauren Faust episode, and it was written by her -- so there. The second and third acts (especially the third act) was huge. Mac didn't have the guts to tell how much he despised Goo until he was told that he wouldn't be allowed to return to Foster's. After that, Mac became furious and hurt Goo's feelings -- and I loved how Mac understood what Goo was trying to do for him. The ending was very appropriate, and I felt that it helped this episode tremendously. Great job, Ms. Faust.

Liked Goo later when I realized what she was going through, and for the way she took responsibility and helped all her IFs get adopted. (Boy does she LOVE IFs or what?) My FAVORITE scene in the whole episode was with Coco, I am starting to like her more then Bloo. (Who was being stupid, annoying, and still acting like he could care less about Mac. The poor kid falls from a tree trying to get a tobaggon for him and he doesn't even blink? What a jerk.) Ed's scene was cute too, the way he was blushing about Goo's compliments was so sweet. ^_^ Goo's really not so bad, and after watching the episode again I realized that more. It was kind of funny actually. The whole bit with them thinking Mac liked Goo as a girlfriend was funny, too. So most of the episode was fine, I just was sick of the same stupid crap from Bloo. I swear, they need to stop, or I'm just going to take him off my favorites list. I adore Wilt, Coco, and Eddy now.
And I'll always love Mac. Gawd is that kid the best. ^_^

I liked this episode, and I couldn't help thinking about Mac Daddy during it. Probably because Cheese and Goo are both spazzes.
I admit I did get a bit teary eyed during the whole stitched-up-backpack-scene.
I must say that I felt bad for Wilt at the chandelier part. I seriously thought he was going to crack. I know I would've. ;D

It was funny, it was weird, it was poignant, it was sweet. Everything I like about Foster's! In the beginning I wanted to give Goo either prozac or ritalin, near the end I wanted to give her a hug. Everything Frankie and Herriman said to Mac about his new "girlfriend" rang so true and made me smile, 'cause I know someone who makes me feel exactly that way. I'm still dying to know how that toboggan got stuck way up in that tree. And when Goo said "You know what's really scary?" to Eduardo, I had to smile, knowing that he was about to get freaked out yet again.
I don't want to use the word "classic", but I'm definitely adding this one to my favorites list.

Oh, I love this episode the most out of all the other ones I saw ><. This episode reminded me so much of myself, that I was actually getting teary ><. It was so cute with them thinking Mac liked Goo...I was like "Aww, so funny, weird, and cute <3" X3. Heh, I wish someone was like Mac and didnt mind me talking so much, since I do XD. After watching that episode, I started drawing Goo loads of times. But, I kinda forgot some details on her, so if any of you guys have a screenshot of her, I would apprieciate it if you posted it ^-^. Also, I now like the whole Mac x Goo thing....they're just so cute and funny together! ><

I agree...in some odd way, those two WOULD be cute together. But uhm....if I were eight years old, I'd be stealing Mac right from her. LOL I'd love to see your pics!

I don't know about you all, but I feel Fosters' has the BEST special guest characters of any cartoon show out there. I absolutely LOVE Goo, and I almost lost my mind waiting for the episode to air after I saw the commercial for the first time. I would have to say that I myself am a teenage boy version of Goo but without all the fast talking (I'm a slow talker). I'm a little embarassed to say that after I saw this episode, I was sweaty due to my body and my mind rushing.
And while we're on the Bloo vs. Mac rebellion, it seemed to me that the only reason why Bloo was so into Goo was because she had a behavior problem that Bloo could take advantage of. Usually when Bloo does something rude and obnoxious, he's the only one to blame. But with Goo around, he can be himself (A jerk) and still have the chance to can himself out of the blame game (He did this twice in the episode).
Oh great Craig McCracken, please see fit to bring back this wonderful character to foster's home for imaginary friends once again for another high-impact, adrenaline-pumping, 22 minutes of our time. Thank you.

In the beginning I wanted to give Goo either prozac or ritalin, near the end I wanted to give her a hug. That's so true! I saw this episode for the first time today - completely blew me away...everything that's good about the show was there, I loved it! I didn't know what to think of Goo in the beginning, but I must say that backpack scene completely floored me - wow "Poor Goo" indeed! Edwardo and the giant monster were hillarious as well, and the opening scene with the sledge got me in a really silly mood - perfect for enjoying what was to become one of the best episodes so far, I think. It's wonderful to see the later/newer episodes still managing to be as inventive, fresh, childishly endearing, and downright laugh-out-loud funny as before - perhaps even more so! I'm going back to college on sunday night, but not before I watch the repeat that's airing an hour before my bus leaves - maybe I'll catch more than half of what Goo actually said this time!! It's been a while since an episode made me feel so good - felt like it was the first time I watched Foster's again, yay! ;D Come back soon Goo...

This episode proves that the writers can do something insane yet heartfelt. Usually that is a dangerous combination but in this case it worked.

This is now my second favorite episode, actually. I feel no ill-feelings towards Goo, cuz in a way, she's like me. Left out (not 100%, but still), creative, spazzy and unable to shut up ;D The scene where Mac yells at Goo and everything thereafter almost made me cry, it was done so well. The beauty of it, and the message conveyed by it was wonderful and, as has been said before, what true-blue Foster's is all about. I don't think Mac loves Goo, I think he can just relate; lonely (because it's quite obvious Mac has no human friends, esspecially after 'Bye, Bye Nerdy') and liked by few. Still, it'd be fun to see a little romance or something, sort of like Kooky and Wally on KND (that's starting to become the only reason I watch KND: No KookyxWally of even the smallest sort, no likey). It's a very interesting thing to add into a show, esspcially one intended for childeren. Still, 'Where There's a Wilt, There's a Way' remains #1 to me. Hey, what Wilt fangirl WASN'T dieing to see a title with his name in it? Speaking of Wilt, the scene with the chandelier was hilarious

I saw it for the first time today. Gaah! I was so mad at Goo for causing all that trouble. Maybe it's because she talks too much and too fast, but I thought she was downright annoying, causing poor Mac all that trouble. But when she was crying at the end and when she fixed Mac's backpack, I felt sorry for her, especially when Mac was screaming his head off about nobody liking her.

Usually when Bloo does something rude and obnoxious, he's the only one to blame. But with Goo around, he can be himself (A jerk) and still have the chance to can himself out of the blame game (He did this twice in the episode).. Possible, but I have to disagree. I think Bloo didn't think he could use Goo as a scape goat as much as he honestly liked her and found her entertaining. While Bloo can be a jerk, I think it's important to point out he never actually intends to be such, it's merely who he is; it's not born of malice, but his own bizarre superiority complex/narcissistic tendencies. Anyway, while I liked this episode, I have to admit it's not one of my favorites. It's probably my second least favorite Goo episode (the first being Neighbor Pains, and keep in mind while I type that I'm a Goo fan), and it really wasn't until later episodes that I began to truly like her, especially in Infernal Slumber.
