I have a feeling that Mac's Mom probably wanted to minimize the presence of Bloo in their house after sending him away, both to make Mac move on and keep him from getting upset. Back when we were nine, my brother's dog died suddenly and my Mom hid all of our pictures of her because my brother got really sullen everytime he saw her. Although, unbeknownst to her, my brother kept on picture hidden in his room because he didn't want to forget about her. Sound familiar? Exactly what I think (and after all, there weren't any pics of that collie dog either). I was disappointed upon taking a closer look at the photos that there weren't any of a young Terrence gleefully holding or playing with his new baby brother, because that would have been great to see.

Maybe he was jealous of the new baby, like I was. I believe I kicked my mother repeatedly when my sister was born.

I finally saw this episode, and I'm about to take a look at "I Only Have Surprise for You." I saw parts of the episode at Comic-Con at the Cartoon Network booth, prior to seeing the entire episode at home. It was nicely done. I loved how Cheese's return was handled (the first decent appearance since "Mac Daddy", and was last seen a few episodes ago) -- many laughs from him. Goo, love her or not, she's definitely going to be seen in many more episodes (after GGG, I knew we'd see more of her). We know for sure that mom does not know about Mac visiting Foster's, and it's going to leave the doors open for a big finale (should this series get an actual ending, and not an ending that will leave people hanging). I gave this one an A-.

Finally watched it. It was a fun episode, even if the plot was a little predictable (Mac trying to shut everyone up while the situation gets louder and more crowded). Cheese's return was fun, but I don't get why Wilt and Eduardo looked happy to see him, didn't he annoy them the last time they met him? Maybe Mac explained about Cheese after Louise came to pick him up from Foster's, but they didn't seem to know about Louise so... I liked Mac's trying to yell at Bloo while whispering until it made no sense, and then Bloo's "I can't believe you said that to me" was pretty funny. I loved the little Brain Freeze thing between Bloo and Cheese, they really looked like two brothers doing something stupid! And Wilt trying to tell them he doesn't think it's healthy pretty much completes the picture - Wilt really acts like a father figure at that moment, and a little later when tells them: "your mother works really hard..." Pretty funny.

My thoughts on the episode were....Mac's mother could sleep through a nuclear holocaust right outside the apartment building if she could sleep through Goo's ceaseless, high-volume chatter and Cheese's screaming his head off like a madman.

HOW does Wilt know that Mac's mom works long hours and does not have time to clean the apartment, and that she works so hard to provide the best for her sons? Now, I'm sure some of you are thinking that Mac's probably told him, right? Actually, I was thinking that he might've assumed that because of how they never hear about her and Mac is always by himself and they live in an apartment and Terrence always harasses Mac without any consequences and she doesn't even know he goes to Foster's every single day. Also, he probably knows that Mac has no father, so his mother must work doubly hard to support two children. My thoughts were somewhere along that line.. My version of it was that Wilt safely assumed Mac's mother worked very hard and barely had time to take care of the housework, what, with her job and everything. I'm sure Mac spends more time over at Foster's than he does at home, so it'd make sense that he'd mention somewhere to his friends that his mom works, or that he needed to be back before she got home. I'd also assume that Mac didn't have a father around since he mentions his mother but fails to mention his father. And I couldn't help but gawk at Wilt's cleaning frenzy and his fatherly nagging. Where'd that come from?
