That would be the absolute greatest, awesomest, most bodaciously excellent thing ever. You forgot to mention that it would also be "swell." ;D

That would be the absolute greatest, awesomest, most bodaciously excellent thing ever. hmmm . . . maaaaaaaaybe. it would be wonderful to know he's reading this, and my cries of BRING BENDY BACK were not ignored. but at the same time . . . we could get a lot of odd in a bad way pairings, and mary sues (made up characters, usually girls) coming in to be wilt's girlfriend

That's interesting because I had a dream Foster's had a Mary-Sue. She was like named Raevyn or something, and had red streaks in her hair, and she just randomly flounced in and saw Bloo and she was all "GASP!" and fawned over him because she thought he was the cutest thing ever. Then Mac showed up and she totally forgot about Bloo and started gushing about how cute Mac is, and Bloo was all "RAGE!"
Wait, this isn't the dreams thread. Oh well. I still hope they're reading our posts here....

I'm wondering also if Craig&Co. actually read FANFICS? Gosh, certain ones will make them... um... well... yes. ;D

Lord, seriously. All the drama that goes on in fanfics, angst, romance, etc. etc. everything that doesn't belong in Foster's at all.
Says the girl who RP's drama at Fosters. But at least I know it's just for fun and don't take it to the extreme.

I'm wondering also if Craig&Co. actually read FANFICS? Gosh, certain ones will make them... um... well... yes. ;D This question was posed to Lauren Faust on TV.com. She said that "officially" they are not supposed to read fanfics, due to the risk of being sued later if one of their plots turns out to be close to that of someone's fanfic, but that still begs the question: What if the OPPOSITE is true? I know that the Disney people keep up with fan art and fanfics, and will not hesitate to take action if one of THEIR characters is portrayed in a really bad light, if they find out about it. Still, I would bet that from time to time, just to keep up with the "pulse" of things, many shows' writers and producers DO read fanfics. pitbulllady

I love a lot of fanfiction (hate a lot of it, too) but I would never want the things that happen in them to happen in the show. They're two seperate things altogether.

That's why I always tell people, if you don't like a fic/piece of art, don't look at it. It's okay to shake your head and groan, but there's no reason to flip out.

When Jess Winfield (one of the producers for the Lilo and Stitch television series) posted to the now-extinct Lilo and Stitch board on TVtome, he said that everyone at ToonDisney was forbidden to read fanfiction for fear of the aforementioned sue-age. Perhaps Disney and ToonDisney are apples and oranges in that department, but there you are. On a semi-related note, I have also heard that J.K. Rowling follows her fans' work as well and has even featured a few of them on her website. And I'd have to agree. I shudder to think what Mr. McCracken and the others would think if they saw some of the things their fans wrote about . . . Might sound a bit hypocritical coming from a slasher, but then again, Craig (if I may call him Craig, that is) does not strike me as the type to be terribly phased by such things as slash (unlike Butch Hartman ( The Fairly Oddparents and Danny Phantom, and Jhonen Vasquez ( Invader Zim) who have publicly expressed negative sentiments with regards to the presence of same-sex relations in their fans' work. And frankly, from what I've seen of all three series, I ardently agree. Cosmo and Wanda are married, for goodness' sake . And while all of the dark, angsty/violent fic material would probably come as a bit of a surprise to Mr. McCracken, being the creator of such a wonderfully witty and colourful series, I can't really see him being too fussed with slash. I mean, he did create "Him" ( the Powerpuff Girls) after all ^_- . . . Buuut, maybe that's just me, being pretentious Either way, I would hope that Mr. McCracken would have a sense of humour about it and not take it too much to heart. Heh, I like to envision him browsing fanfiction.net, having a snort into his morning coffee and saying out loud, "Ha ha, silly fangirls." ~ The Prince

I mean, breaking up two characters who are in a relationship of any kind just to slash them with someone else is bad enough, but you just don't touch the marriage!

Wow, guys. They actually posted something NEW on the blog!! They've got a downright AWESOME cast pic up (featuring multiple versions of the main cast, including sugar-high Mac and, wait for it, Orlando Bloo! Along with basically ALL of the minor characters! I'm so happy...).
Looks like the Foster's Crew is back in action!
