Foster's Valley: Blake Superior's Day OffI knew this day would come: The titans of the Valley meet at last, at the Foster's Valley Family Fun Center. Blake Superior and the New Guy. Two big IF's, both in top physical condition, both with attitude problems. This promises to be the biggest battle in the history of the Valley, one that will live in the memories of all Sims for generations to come. They meet, they speak, and then comes the shocking twist: They spent the next couple hours in the hot tub, becoming best buddies. That's Madam Foster in there with them. After bonding with his unexpected new friend, Blake hailed a taxi for a trip to the mall. Worn out from relaxing in the hot tub all day, he whipped up a batch of hot dogs on the mall grill: The grill is a golden opportunity for Sims; it's a free meal and it always draws other Sims for socializing: Blake ended up dining with Ingrid Gustafsen, the mother of Cheese's crush Florah. It's hard to say what they were talking about here, but they seemed to get along well. It's amazing what a free hot dog can do. After he finished, Blake spotted something he really liked: Of course, he doesn't realize that Amanda Blue is the one woman in the Valley who can stuff him and the New Guy into a mailbox. Amanda is a real sweetheart most of the time, but she doesn't take crap from anybody, as Denise Jaquet found out: Don't ask me what happened; I saw Denise throw the first slap, but I have no idea why. Blake spoke with Amanda a moment later, but got nothing out of the chat other than a red minus sign floating over his head. His solution? More hot dogs, and more male bonding: He chatted amicably with Vincent Whitfield and Desmond Marville while Amanda and Denise continued to poke and slap each other. Denise tends to irritate people; the only Sim I have that's been more of a pain in the neck to everyone is... well, it's Mr. Herriman. Eventually, Denise blew her stack: s47.photobucket.com/albums/f184/Cassini90125/?action=view¤t=04030Fight.flvAfter the fight, Blake took another shot at chatting with Amanda and got another red minus sign. After that he had a third hot dog, called a taxi, and went home to take a shower and a nap. It had been an eventful day.

I've been trying to make Foster's in Sims 2 for weeks (alas, I am too poor for expansion packs at the momment), to no avail. Anybody willing to put up their awesome characters on the Sims 2 website??? Although yesterday, I was over at my best friends house to play Sims (he has it too). I found an AWESOME download of Frankie clothing. I made a Frankie, and he made an Elphaba from Wicked. I got up to go to the bathroom, and when I came back he had killed my lovely Frankie Sim with the Tombstone of L and D cheat. Darn it. I almost cried, but then Elphaba killed herself by setting the stove on fire. And then the Grim Reaper used our toilet in the Titanic-esque lot we downloaded. -Marty

I wouldn't advise anyone to upload their Sims to the Exchange. Some of the Sims I've downloaded from the site have not been well cared for by their creators. Plus, I've heard too many stories about people torturing Sims and I'm not willing to put any of mine where people like that can get ahold of them.

I suggest pressing "PRT SC" and going to a MS paint program, the going to edit and selecting paste, and then using the select tool to cut it down to size and blah blah you know. Sorry if I told you everything you already know.

I tried that, and it told me to "paste from". Thanks for the help, though!!! I'll have to read the manual... -Marty

Try pressing "PRT SC" and "CTRL" at the same time, that's what I do. I make so many screencaps that I made a blank JPEG file of the right size (1024 x 768 on my machine) specifically to paste them into.
