Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (I hope not) : Don't worry, I'm not voting this for the world. Think you know why? My Gym Partner's a Monkey : Just a copy of Camp Lazlo Ed, Edd, n Eddy : Funny, glad to see they go to school The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy : Really funny, I look foward to it Squirrel boy : I gave it a chance, but it ain't too bad. The Life and Times of Juniper Lee : Get rid of it, NOW. Camp Lazlo : This show is more original that MGPaM. And SB (Squirrel Boy) I mean, ANIMALS going to summer camp? No humans whatsoever? WOW. Codname: Kids Next Door : I don't mind the way they draw the characters, but they have some weird ideas. Xiaolin Showdown : It's not too bad, at least it's more of a chinese-based show, instead of JAPANESE for once. Plus, the theme song's catchy.

I made an emotional plea to Cartoon Network that, after they put PowerPuff Girls Zeta on the air, they not purchase any more rights to anime shows since the North American market is already oversaturated with them as it is. Naruto, One Piece, that BoBoBo-whatever the hell it's called.....it's like anime in America's been going downhill since a fledgling company called 4Kids Entertainment bought the rights to a Japanese TV show called Pocket Monsters in 1997.

Exactly. I like anime, but saying that trying to make American cartoons anime-esque should appeal to the people who LIKE anime is like saying that since I like ketchup, then there's no reason why I shouldn't want it on my pancakes. One of the reasons I like Foster's is because it's original without trying to sodomize Chinese and Japanese mythology.... and overuse anime expressions. I'm looking at you, Totally Spies.
And, wait, they bought Demashita! Popwerpuff Girls Z? When did this happen?

They'll probably put it on their Toonami lineup in the time slot currently occupied by Teen Titans.

The main problem is that most anime they buy all fit into the same couple of genres - Comedy Action/Fighting or Magical Girl, and they censor all shows they buy until they all look the same and lose any meaning they had in their original form. If a show requires so much censoring that it loses it's meaning, don't show it to kids at all! (I'm looking at you Cardcaptors!)
And making american cartoons in anime style looks terrible. I can't watch shows like that without feeling something's wrong. It's like most cartoons have lost their originality - they either look incredibly lazy, really ugly, or a total ripoff of some other show.

Even more when it was Grim and Evil. In all honesty, I found the "Evil Con Carne" half of the original show to be far superior to "Billy & Mandy". I just loved it, especially General Skarr and Major Dr. Ghastly.
