Exactly, they just picked an attractive actress and made her Daphne. Not nearly as bad as what they did to Betty in that Flintstones movie, but still. Wouldn't want to see that happen to Frankie.

Fortunately I doubt we'll ever have to worry about it.

Yeah, Betty Rubble in the Flintstones cartoon was more skinny, but the one in the movie was more chubby. I have nothing against chubby people, I'm chubby! But they looked absolutly NOTHING alike! It just looked like Rosie O'Donnel in a Betty Rubble costume. Wouldin't it be hilariously awful if they made a live action movie with Frankie looking like a hag woman? HA! That'd be something! You remember the commercial they had a while back, it was a combo of cartoon and live people. Anyway, the one where Wilt and Ed are sitting in a chair, and the little girl brings her older brother in to show him she HAD those IF's, and Bloo comes along and spits milk in his face? I always thought that would look really good as a live action movie, they way they animated it all together.

I think a live action movie wouldn't be the best idea. I mean we know how great CGI is, but the characters designs only WORK in cartoon style. It just wouldn't work real life.

Agreed. The animation is part of why I love Foster's so much. CGI versions of the IFs would just creep me the heck out.

For one, Wilt's facial structure would be... WEIRD in 3D. From theside, his 'folds' in his face fold back. Yet from the front they seem as prominent as anything. Eduardo would be . . . truely terrifying. His face is HUGE afterall, as is the rest of him. Man, I'm getting the willies just thinking about it. *shiver*

*thinks of the 3D rendering of Eddie in One False Movie*
Shudder, imagine a whole movie of that? Including (as CG pointed out) a bizarrely propotioned Wilt, a way too complicated Coco, and a 3D Bloo which would condradict his whole design's premise...
Not to mentioned plastic-esque versions of Frankie, Mac, Madame Foster and Terrence! *hides under the bed*

As for Wilt too, where would they put his knees and elbow? Elbow, more improtantly since he seems to be able to make his arm like rubber and its never really angular to begin with. Like Elasti-Girl! XD Brr. Plus, we've seen a 3D Bloo in 'Bloos Brothers', and it looked out right CREEPY.
So yeah. Foster's is best left to a 2D, unless they make it like they did Who Framed Roger Rabbit and have the Imaginaries 2D; now that'd be awweeesome. But then again 2D movies are like. Extinct now, so the possibilities of that happening are slim.
I'll just take Good Wilt Hunting for two points, thank you.

Ugh, I had forgotten about 3D Bloo. Although I'm not sure I wanted to remember...

Jessica Rabbit = hotness.
I doubt many would complain if they gave Frankie that treatment. ;D
