(this might be a little 'spammish', but I think it could make for an interesting discussion) Just a thought I had recently...imagine if the Foster's crew put together a band? Who would be in it? What instruments would everyone play? What kind of music would they play? And a name...? Suggestions anybody? Feel free to imagine up your own ideal band, giving important positions to your favorite characters etc

Yeah, they do have an Oompa Band *gushes over the fact that Bloo plays the same instrument as me*.
As for another sort of band...I can see them starting a barbershop quartet. Eduardo would be the bass, Wilt the tenor, Mac the alto, Bloo the soprano (teehee). I guess Coco would just have to be their manager. XD
As for their name...well, can't you just see Bloo making the executive decision to name them something like, I dunno, "Blooey Kazoo and the Razzle Dazzle Crew"?
...and they'd all be horribly out of tune.

Yeah that reminds me, Foster's hasn't done an episode that Parodies the music industry, I mean they've already parodied: Film (One False Movie), Television/Advertising (Sweet Stench of Success) and even Internet Fads. (World Wide Wabbit) but not music.
Of course that might happen sooner rather the later, because after all, Craig McCracken was responsible for "Meet the Beat-Alls" (The episode of the Powerpuff Girls, which was nothing but non stop Beatles references from start to finish. Which coincidently is also my favorite episode of that particular series, then again I've only watched a handful of PPG so my frame of reference is very small indeed.)

"But remember girls, someday Michele won't play piano song... play piano song...." heheheh.

I still think Terrence should start a junkyard band.

Me 'n The Prince have also talked on this (we talk a LOOOOOOOT!), and we had an idea of Eduardo on the drums, Bloo with a guitar 'n Wilt on lead vocals. I think Coco got stuck with the keyboard or something. It was just silly talk anyway. Ed'd be scared of the loud noises the drum makes I think.
But yeah, they totally need a music themed episode. Oh man, a Foster's musical. Now THAT would be kick [DONKEY]! Just. . . random things happening yet the characters singing in song. Kinda like how Uncle Pockets speaks in verse but cooler.
"HEY! It's morning! It's morning? So soon? Yes it's morning! I don't wanna get up! You'll be here till noon!"
And so on and so forth. Kinda like the Rocko's Modern Life episode about cleaning up, and they were singing through the entire show then someone says at the end he missed rehersals.

I was gonna say something about Wilt being a singer. I mean, we've gotten auditory "glimpses", so to speak, of some genuine talent there in the vocal department, in "Where There's a Wilt, There's a Way", even if it WAS about pouring potato chips in a bowl(hey, the best singers oughta be able to "free style", when they need to, since that means that can write their own lyrics, something few singers actually do), and in "One False Movie", though the style of song Bloo picked was not really suited to Wilt's vocal style. He's more of an "Old Skool" R&B or Blues singer. He's be pretty limited on playing a musical instrument, and by that I mean REALLY playing it, not just making noise with it like he did with the trombone in "Room With a Feud", by the loss of his arm. Although, the drummer for Def Leppard DID continue to play the drums-a kit designed just for him-after losing HIS arm in an auto accident.

I think Wilt has a good singing voice, not that I've heard him sing, but I think he has a good techno singing voice. Most techno band singers have a very calm voice EX Depeche Mode. Wilt has a calm voice, maybe in an episode he'll start an emo/techno band, lol. Or maybe he's more of a rapper, I'd die to hear Wilt kickin' it freestyle.

Yes, I've always thought of Wilt's voice being used in a trance song. Something like Depeche Mode might work for him, but I was thinking he could be useful in some of the really calming vocal trance. Seriously, if I had the money for the programs I would make a song like that. XD Lol

I think Wilt likes R&B, but his voice is perfect for a band like Depeche Mode or Tears for Fears.

I have this bizarre image of Wilt singing 'Shout' now.
