I don't use my left hand, but my best friend ShiguresChick is left-handed and my mom is left-handed and one of my cousins is left-handed. There was this one time that one of Shigureschick's other friends tripped her and caused her to fall and crush her left hand, which I thought was kind of weird because that's the hand she uses.

My brother is. A lot of people say that very right-brained people tend to be left-handed and left-brained people tend to be right-handed, but I've always tested as extremely right-brained and I'm right-handed, and my brother is left-brained, and he's left-handed. We baffle people.

I have many relatives from my father's side of the family that are lefties.

My grandfadda was *originally* a leftie, but he grew up in a Catholic orphanage and being a leftie was the sign of the devil or something, so they made him swith. Meh.
But my sister is a leftie! She's four and I asked her to write her name. She wrote ALL the letters BACKWARDS and went right to left. Then she was embarresed. Awww...

I'm left handed, and my mom is also left handed.
It only bothers me when I need to use the can opener and it is impossible to do it with your left hand.

Well, I'm totally convinced that my three-week-old niece is left handed! LoL She seems to reach for EVERYTHING with her left hand, and she squeezes hardest with that hand too...
But I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

lefty at heart are you? here's some interesting lefty facts: if both parents are left handed it's a 50% chance their kid will be left handers can read backward better than right handers August 13th is the official left handers day(so mark your calendars) leftys adjust to underwater seeing faster When tying a shoe, leftys tie differently, they have the left lace in front and start looping with the right loop(that's how i tie mine) leftys have a better memory of music(which may be why I can remember a lot more songs than my sisters and mom) things that make life for a lefty more difficult: playing cards(true in my case I can't flip the cards as fast) aprons, butter knives(also true it's so hard to spread things), watch stems, ice cream scoops, slot machines
somethings I've noticed is the way you pick up something like, a pen, most pens you can't read what it says when it's in your hand but if you're right handed you can read it perfectly fine, and sometimes I'm looking at the little pen thing you sign with at registers and I start to wonder if you were left handed would the string stretch enough for you to sign?

I found out that people who are synesthetes are mostly likey to be female, left-handed, moody and intelligent.
Does anyone know a synesthete? 'Cause I don't, and I thought it'd be cool to...
